I decided I need stitched retangle dies. I do more stamping and card making than scrapbooking. Is one company better than another? The Simon brands are 30% off, but they are out of stock.

I think most of the brands of stitched rectangular dies carried by SSS are pretty comparable, based on what I have in my stash. That said, the set I use most often is this one by MFT: www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/My-Favorite-Things-A2-STITCHED-RECTANGLE-STAX-SET-2-Die-Namics-MFT1185-RMFT1185?currency=USDAnd the reason is the largest die is 4 x 5-1/4. Many of the other sets have the largest die at 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, the exact same size as the card front. This may be exactly what you want but I always like a bit of a border showing on the card front so I reach for the 4 x 5-1/4 one for almost every card I make. In fact, it never gets put away. It lives in the front of the die box on my desk. Also this die set is sized for A2 cards so the sizes change proportionally as you get to the smaller dies.

I would go with the inside out stitched dies. That way, whether you use the die cut or the negative, they have the stitches.
ETA Oh shoot, I see they are out of stock right now. They'll probably get them back in soon, though.

Yay! on the gift card. I have the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles and the Hero Arts Infinity Rectangles (not stitched). I only use the largest die in the LF set because the others are just too small and I wish I had one size larger. I do use the HA set a lot. I think with all the "well known" companies the product will be quite similar. The set freeatlast linked is the set that is on my wish list because of the range of sizes.

freeatlast thanks for the info. I like a border too. Do you or anyone use the smallest one?

I bought the lawn fawn ones before I realized that the sizes would matter so much... if I were doing it again, I'd wait for the inside and out SSS brand ones, or I'd get that MFT set.
