I just saw a 6x8 pad recently. I didn’t even know they came in that size. Gotta get out more.

I did not read all the posts, but you are so right! I saw a 2x3 pad at Michaels today. Made me think of Paige Evans and her 2x2's.

There are people on YouTube that use 6 x 6 pads to create 12 x 12 layouts. Some of them are pretty cute and then you don't have to invest in a large pad. do you know any names?

6x8 is my jam as I only do pocket page scrapping. I get so many unusable pieces with 6x6, but I like that I can slice 6x8 right down the middle and get 4 3x4 pieces.

I guess I just need to know the REASON for things, then I'm okay with the weirdness of it. (weirdness is my own opinion, of course, as a 12x12 scrapper).

Yeah, what she said! Actually someone here recommended the scrapper and I watched what she had but didn't save and videos.

I prefer 12x12, but I can be talked into a 6x6 if I really like the patterns and want smaller versions of the prints to go with the 12x12 I also have a bunch of pocket pages with four 6x6 pockets per page, and I appreciate the small pads so I don't have to cut paper to fit them. I found them on clearance at M's a while back for $1 per pack of 10 pages, so I still have several to use!

Another reason for 6 x 8 is that companies put out 6 x 8 binders (Snap) that have 6 x 8 pieces of chipboard that need to be covered with paper. I made a travel one last spring at a class by Layle Koncar that was so fun to make. It took one pad of 6 x 8 paper.
