Thanks! I don’t use it, so I wasn’t worried but it says they can eavesdrop when someone is just calling.

Well I hope the eavesdroppers enjoy the spam calls and DH asking what I want to do for for dinner. Those are the extent of my phone calls.

I didn’t even know you could Group FaceTime. I have only ever FaceTimed one user at a time. When the problem is fixed, I want to try the group though.

The kids were laughing at our family call last night as I kept talking about the amazing roasted broccoli I made. Interesting conversations for sure. LOL! BUT with that said, I still would like my home and life to be as private as can be in today's world.

Hahaha my son Facetimed me from his room last night to tell me that he liked dinner (new recipe), and that I should make it again. I'm guessing that one would be great to listen to. Maybe I won't update in order to waste the time of eavesdroppers

See because I’m petty I would be the one to talk about murdering someone to throw off whoever is listening to my FT and then it would backfire and the cops would be at my door for murder.

Meh. I only FT with a couple of people, and maybe only 2-3 times a year. I’m not worried.

It's been disabled on Apple's side (and there was an iOS update, which I wonder if that's fixed the bug), so it's probably safe to put back on.
But...that's a colossal fuck up from Apple, who pride themselves on privacy. WHOOPS.
P.S. - I hate FaceTime unless I'm FaceTiming my dogs.

That explains the crazy weird call I had the other day. I have my car connected to my phone. My phone is a Samsung FLIP PHONE, not a smart phone. Anyways, my phone rang thru the car, I answered it. Then a woman and man started talking. Apparently it was a dad calling his daughter to ask her to pay for his medications. WTF? I have no idea how it happened.

I'm confused as to why this Apple issue would affect your flip phone. I don't think these are related...

Yes I believe all outlets of "listening" happen... but to me, if you want to listen to my convos go ahead. I have nothing to hide. I don't care. I'm doing nothing criminal. However, if I was a criminal in Trump's circle using iPhones..I'd be quaking.

Maybe another driver on the road had their call picked up by my phone?

Maybe another driver on the road had their call picked up by my phone? I know distance wise a call can be picked up and heard in the car when the phone is nor in the vehicle. When we park and DH runs inside the store I can see who is calling and hear the conversations if he picks up. But he has purposefully linked his phone to the vehicle’s system, and that can only be done when the car isn’t moving. So very weird what is happening with yours! eta: When we are driving and his vehicle is in front of or behind mine, because he has hooked his phone up to my vehicle if I call him, I hear the conversation over my speakers as well as through the phone.
