did anyone else tune in and watch Lindsay's final run? what a great way to end a fabulous career. and hugging ingmar.. so sweet.
Lindsay has won more world cup races than anyone except ingmar.. and was the oldest competitor to win a world cup medal..
I'd bet Shiffren will end up getting more medals.. she is still so young.
The american women skiers have generally been better than the men.. starting with Gretchen Fraser...

I did see it, since she's from MN, they covered it quite a bit. Was so glad she ended her career with a medal. Her poor body though. I hope she can be happy and healthy

She's awesome! This thread makes me wish we had the Winter Olympics again this year, I really enjoyed them.

Yes. I was so glad she was able to end her career that way. Her crash 5 days earlier looked awful and I am sure that her body was still feeling it.
I do think that Mikaela Shiffrin will pass most of her (Vonn's) accomplishments easily, but that certainly does nothing to diminish my respect for Lindsay and all that she has accomplished.
