My inspiration was this page DawnMcD posted in January:  Sledding by DawnMcD, on Flickr I loved the heart made out of squares/triangles, and the blues with the reds. Ooooh goody, this will be fun! I love all the layering on a lot of Dawn's LO's, the only problem will be choosing which one to scrap lift!

This is my scrap lift of Dawn's "This Girl Is On Fire" layout. I was looking through her gallery and kept coming back to this one, because I really liked the little squares of different patterned paper. I had no idea what photos or colours I was going to use, so I opened up my photos and went straight to the very first folder from the year 2000 and the first photo I saw was this one of DD and her best friend. When I saw that their outfits that had little squares on them, I thought PERFECT! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration DawnMcD !

I finally chose a layout and photos, and some of the papers. So.many.layouts to choose from! Here's the original:  And here's mine. My photo block was bigger than Dawn's, so my embellishments are arranged a little differently, but I mostly tried to stick to the original.
