Welcome to day 17 of the This or That challenge. Simply choose one item from each pair to use on your page or project. Don't have either of the options in your stash? Substitutions are welcome! Prefer to scrap in a simpler style? Choose a smaller number of pairs from the below list to make your project. Ready to get your scrap on? Your page should include: - something really old or something really new
- PL style cards or paper scraps
- a big title or no title
- stripes or dots
- pockets or frames
- hearts or stars
Here's my take on it: From the list I used: something really old or something really new PL style cards or paper scrapsa big title or no titlestripes or dotspockets or frames hearts or stars If you play along please share your pages in this thread.

I loved this challenge! I wanted to keep this layout very simple because I wanted the emphasis on my eight-year-old DD's essay. From the list I used: Old or new PL cards or scrapsBig title or no titleStripes or dotsPockets or framesHearts ( snowflakes) or stars

MDscrapaholic your DD's essay is so precious. I love how you swapped in the snowflakes - they're the perfect finishing touch.

How sweet that you scrapped her essay, MDscrapaholic! I love the iconic photo and how the darker background lets the essay and the pic shine.

These photos have been on my mind for awhile. Thanks for the challenge Chinagirl828 I used: ~ something really old - the chopsticks wrappers, I've been collecting them for a long time, not sure of how I would use them ~ PL style cards *and* paper scraps - literally, scraps from our meal ~ no title ~ dots - nuvos on some of the flowers ~ pockets - PL, baby ~ hearts - tiny heart on the bottom pic

I like the smaller page size, especially with the line of squares down the centre. I'm impressed you got all the list items on this smaller page!

This is a great double page grammadee. I love those ice hockey embellishments and the circles/stars paper is the perfect pop of colour.

I love the happy colours thracian, especially that pop of purple with that beautiful yellow! I have been obsessed with reading over the last few months, which is probably why I'm not doing much scrapping, and have been toying with the idea of documenting it somehow since I know this phase will eventually pass.
