Now that the sun is setting (groan) on our February challenges, how about a layout or project of either: 1. Using the colours of a sunset or sunrise. I've gone back to design-seeds.com for some colour palette inspiration. 2. A layout showcasing a photo of a sunset or sunrise. TWIST: Add an embellishment relating to the sky for an extra point eg. sun, cloud, star, moon, planet, rainbow etc. Please share your layouts here on this thread, and also the February Team Sharing & Commenting Thread if you're part of the team challenges, where you can add your points. Here are some gorgeous sunset & sunrise colour palettes:

Gorgeous example, AussieMeg! And I love all your colour palettes. But shoot! I had a photo of a sunrise, and I already scrapped diecuts of sun and clouds! Now I don't know what I will do with this challenge!

Here is another example, because I wanted to use the clipping mask I just bought!

Another gorgeous photo, AussieMeg , and a gorgeous page to display it on. I remembered this photo this morning and thought it would work with the colours if not the sunrise/sunset theme. These Lawn Fawn papers actually do look like cloudy dawn skies. I will also be sharing this in the February Sketch challenge thread, and will add up my points in the Team share thread. sweet by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

What a gorgeous dusty pink grammadee, very dawn sky-ish! I love that you got some bling on there, and the flowers and stems really add some amazing dimension to the page. Oh, and it helps that you have a gorgeous subject in the photo too. Thanks for playing!

I had a tough time with this one because I'm running low on unscrapped 2018 photos ( what a great problem to have - I might be done with this album soon! ) Her dress has reddish orange flowers, and the overall photo is really green, so I went for the color scheme with the purples and peaches hoping it would balance out the colors a bit, and I like what it did for the photo. Thanks for the challenge AussieMeg!

Love all the purples, msliz! The flowers really highlight her dress. I like the way you tied twine around the stems to make it look like a real bouquet.

Here's my page. Thanks for the inspiration! I wouldn't have put together this combo, especially the gray and pale blue.

thracian, that is really cool! Love all the soft colours and the layers with the doilies. Typing the journaling on vellum really adds to the softness of it all.
