Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both!   As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild!  These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'!  grammadee |

Beautiful page! The sketch is good for birthday celebrations and I believe grammadee has a team challenge up regarding celebrations. hmmm. The wheels are turning. |

Thanks, KikiPea , for coming up with these every month! I like how they are each so different. I was thinking of posting a challenge about the sun this month. That 2 pager would be perfect for that. |

Here is my LO using the sketch. I had a lot of fun with this one, thanks KikiPea . I have quite a few digital PageMaps templates which was nice, because I didn't have to make my own scalloped circles and strips! I did most of it on the drive home from the beach, and added a few finishing touches when I got home. I used the 'Birthday Wishes - Girl' kit by Ooh La La Scraps.

First, beautiful layout AussieMeg! That glitter polka dot is a great party page background. BUT, I did most of it on the drive home from the beach, and added a few finishing touches when I got home. You have SKILLZ! I would never be able to create in a car. I'm in awe and amazed. |
