I’m talking about cars you claimed as yours and drive on a regular basis.
I’ve been driving for 28 years and have only had 3 cars. An 86 Grand Am that my parents bought me at 17, a 99 Chevrolet Cavalier that I bought after getting my first job out of college, and now I’m driving a 2004 Ford Explorer. It’s time for a new car, so I’m sure I will be getting my 4th car soon.

I've been driving for 23 years and have only had three also. A Honda Accord, Ford Explorer and a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. My first two were given to me by my Dad, and I bought the Tahoe in 2006. I don't like car payments, so I paid it off early. But too many things are going wrong on it now and I'm not willing to put the money into it vs. what its worth. So I'm planning to buy something new this fall when the 2020s come out. I'm drooling over the 4 door hard top Jeeps.

I've been driving for 16 years, and I still drive my first car (2003 Mini Cooper)! That said, I also now have my husband's car (1986 Porsche 928, not his first by any means), plus an SUV we both drive (1997 Toyota Land Cruiser).

Been driving 25 years and am on my 4th vehicle.
Had a '89 Camry from 1994 till 1999 (damaged beyond repaid when hit), then a brand new '99 Civic from 1999 to 2002 when I traded that 2 door POS in for a 2003 Corolla S with special package and then traded that in for a brand new 2013 Sienna Van v6 loaded.
Going to trade in the van in about 4 or so more years for another Sienna. LOVE Toyota. And my Sienna

I've been driving 23 years and have only had 3 cars.
My first car was a 1989 Chevy Corsica. Drove it until 1998 when I was rear-ended and it was totaled, then bought a 1996 Mercury Mystique. Drove that until 2012, when we bought a 2008 Chevy Impala. That's what I'm driving now. I hope to pass it down to dd13 when she starts driving in a few years, but not sure it will make it that long.

I've been driving just shy of 40 years and I'm on my 16th car. DH has probably had just about as many. We drive and drive and drive, so I put a lot of miles on quickly. Otherwise, I doubt it would be that many. ETA Fun thread idea. Great to look back.

I had a Cresta that I used exclusively in Japan (Cressida). Then I got a Maxima and loved that car! Now I drive a Forester and we are planning to upgrade soon. Maybe this year or next. We might downsize to one car even. I am not sold on this but I think my dad is tired of the pain associated with driving. We will upgrade to a BMW i3 or an Audi or a souped up Forester depending what I like the best. There is also an Infinity and Lexus he wants to look at. As long as it has GPS and backup screen I am good. A new Forester would be just fine.

Let's see. I've been driving for 34 years and have had:
1982 Ford Mustang 1981 Mercury Lynx wagon 1993 Plymouth Sundance 2000 Dodge Stratus 2003 Suzuki XL-7 2011 Hyundai Sonata 2010 Subaru Outback...which really isn't mine...it's a hand me down from my DH since I gave his oldest my Hyundai.
I'm bound and determined to not get another car for at least 5 years until the youngest DD goes to college.

I've had my license for 37 years.
An ancient early Honda Accord that was a total rust bucket. My med school classmates used to tease me because I had to climb into the driver's seat from other doors! The engine was good, but the rest-- LOL A old Honda Civic- it was pretty old when I got it and had no AC. It was gifted to me and replaced as soon as we saved money for a new car. 95 Mitsubishi Eclipse- the only brand new car I have ever owned! 90-something Chevy Blazer, bought long after the Eclipse for the 4 wheel drive and because it handled better in snow than the Eclipse (and dh then drove the Eclipse for a few years and then we switched back when I didn't need to worry about driving in bad storms anymore) 2010 Chevy HHR that sadly lasted less than 8 years. Bought used in 2010 so I expected to own it for at least 10 years! Dh's 2011 HHR is still going strong though! 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan
We do tend to keep our cars a long time. We had the Eclipse until 2010 when it died. Had the Blazer until 2013 or 14. It was a mid-90's car. My first two cars were already up there when I got them.

1987 Nissan Sentra 1995 Toyota Camry 2003 Honda CR-V 2004 Honda Pilot 2019 Infiniti QX50
Most of our cars are “our” cars, but these I would say are more mine. The Sentra was the first car I bought at 25.
