Love this - you're interpretation is lovely, and the way you've changed the proportions of the sketch to give it a different feel shows just how flexible this sketch will be. This has been printed for my inspiration today!

Great take on the sketch, @elaynef! Those boys look like they are working hard but enjoying every moment, and the house turned out great! Love the gingerbread icon, and all the hearts.
