Ladies, I went to a gf's last night. We dipped all sorts of things in chocolate. Oh yum! Now I know how to correctly do it as opposed to playing with it myself. Any tips or sites to get supplies? Thanks!

No double dipping that's the only rule I know. Although I would add do not touch the dip with your fingers and don't let your hair touch it either.

If you stick a fork carefully into the middle of Oreos they are very easy to dip, especially if they are double stuff. Or any filled cookie really. I taught my kids to do this when they would dip them into milk and then loose them to the bottom of the glass, but it also works for dipping them in melted choc.

Oh and white choc really only melts well if you do it over a double boiler, is needs to hot but not boiling. My microwave always ruins white choc, it's fine with milk or dark choc though. Also do not under any circumstances get any water into the white choc or it will seize.

I melt white chocolate all the time to make Tiger Butter and it is best to melt it over the double boiler, I have never had a problem with it when I do it that way.
My question, is a fork the best thing to use to dip things?

My question, is a fork the best thing to use to dip things? Wouldn't it be similar to a fondue fork (two prongs/longer handle)?
