Know we've done this before but i'm recouping from surgery and have a lot of long, boring recovery time ahead. A friend suggested new games so wondering what everyone is playing these days. I've been playing Wordscapes most recently, before that some Toon Blast. Anything you'd recommend?
While we're at it, anything new and exciting on Netflix or Hulu that you'd recommend?

I'm pretty boring as far as games go - crosswords, wordful and solitaire but they keep my brain busy when I'm bored.
Have you watched Derry Girls? It's only one season so far but it is good. I've watched a few episodes of Working Moms and even though I'm not the prime demographic, I've liked it. Schitt's Creek is great and I really liked Offspring as well.
If you want a long series, Midsummer Murders has something like 19 seasons now.

Games: Hay Day..been playing for many years. Covet: fashion game..it’s better than a lot of the regular ones offered and not kid-ish. Bubble shooter .. good game when you have anxiety. You shoot a colored ball to the matching ball to break away the balls. Hidden Hotel.. basically you find items in a pic and then you games stars to upgrade your hotel.
Hulu The Act. True Crime series about Gyspy Rose and her mom DeeDee. (I still have mixed feelings about this whole case.)
Netflix Santa Clarita Diet ..new episodes were posted few days ago.
Good Girls (season 1 is on here and the current season is being aired on Hulu) 3 straight laced moms rob a grocery store then it leads them down a path of other bad stuff. It’s not a dark show...it’s got a lot of funny parts with some drama added to it.
The Order.. takes place in college with a secret society. If witches and werewolves aren’t your thing then you won’t lile this series.

Back in the early 90s my dad and I used to play a game called Lemmings on the PC. Lemmings would follow each other to their death unless you used certain powers to enable them to get around obstacles until they made it home safely. We loved the challenge and we tried to out level each other. With the advancement of computers our old floppy disk games were no longer playable and we moved on to other things. Over the years I’ve search to see if anyone had resurrected Lemmings and just last week A Facebook friend mentioned she was playing this new game app...called Lemmings! So, long story short that’s what I’m playing these days Lol!

Wordscapes.
Careful its addicting! When we were in Peru last week, everyone in our group asked about it, help us find words and then downloaded it themselves!

I only play Candy Crush and Solitaire on my phone.
Our newest shows to watch on Netflix are:
* Escape to the Continent - like House Hunters International but without all the fake drama. * Monty Don's French Gardens & Monty Don's Italian Gardens * Our Planet - David Attenborough's newest series that just started
Hope you are feeling better soon!

I play Fishdom and Design Home. Both are good time wasters that don't require any real thinking. I also am (slowly) learning Spanish on Duolingo, which is a free app.

Games: Disney Emoji Blitz (collect Disney characters to use on your keyboard when texting)
Hulu: Proven Innocent. Not sure how I feel about it yet, I am on the third episode and the recurring plot line may be too much.

A few different color by number apps
This is what I'm doing even more than games. I have LOTS of sitting around time, and have been doing both Happy Color and Tap Color. I used to be into the coloring trend, but my eyes got too bad. Then I started it digitally, but got stressed out making color choices. I don't have to worry about that with color-by-number, and am slightly addicted. I even started a FB group for Happy Color (an unofficial and invite-only group, the only one besides the official group)
But I also play: Disney Magic Kingdoms Game of Sultans Wonka's World of Candy Languinis Best Fiends (not friends, but fiends) June's Journey Merge Dragons
I love word games, but am terrible at playing against others as I get tired of waiting and lose interest to the point of not returning and forfeiting.
As for streaming...
The Act Santa Clarita Diet (kinda campy, lots of fun) Kevin Hart: Irresponsible (if you like him, it's a new special on Netflix)
Good movies just out on Amazon Prime: Interview with a Vampire The Shawshank Redemption Top Gun

I must be behind on the times. I play angry birds friends and angry birds match. Those suck up time so no other games on my phone.
I have been watching expedition unknown on Hulu. Josh Gates is my crush. I have seen most of the episodes but am watching them all on Hulu to make sure I did not miss one. The live show tonight was interesting.

I play words with friends. Only with a couple of people though, if I get too many people it becomes too much like a chore. That said, I wouldn’t mind adding one or two more NON CHEATERS. So if you’re interested, let me know.
I also play Wordscapes, but it’s getting kind of dull. Backgammon. Once in a blue moon if I’m bored at an airport or waiting for an appt I’ll play solitaire.
That’s it. Curious, do y’all remember when FarmVille was big? Does anyone still play it?

I wish I could find games that would just let me play and not all these pop- ups and different games within games and moving up levels and buying coins and such. I realize that’s how they make their money but it’s aggravating.

I don't know anyone who plays games through Facebook any more.

I enjoy Wordscapes and also Wordstacks. I play them both offline and that way you don’t have to deal with the ads. I also waste far too much time with Mahjong Gold and Fruit Connect. Every so often, I play cribbage and sudoku, and I also go back to Covet now and again. I was seriously hooked on Covet, but I’ve managed to wean myself off it.

Merge Dragons Zombie Castaways Township Puzzle Page
Some of the one I have enjoyed over time but rarely play now are: iAssociate 2 Scribblenauts Plants vs. Zombies (1 & 2, not the heroes one).
This weekend was the first weekend I have been at home since Christmas, and I had to stuff envelopes. That gave me time to I catch up on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and I started working through the latest season of Santa Clarita Diet. I also caught up on Project Runway (I bought the season pass on Amazon Prime Video, so they are added as the episode is released..)

I play Hayday. I love it because nothing goes bad if you don't get back to it right away. I can take breaks and still find something new when I get back. It has a co-op option to play with others and just a lot of fun things to do. Ive never spent a penny on the game itself. I used to play Dragonvale and adored it, but it got a bit complicated and I couldn't devote enough time to it to keep up. I haven't played in several months but at that time I was at the top of the levels. Didn't pay a thing for that game either.
