I left this open, and dh saw it. He is shocked that I didn't fess up to the fact that when ever I have an empty paper towel roll or wrapping paper roll that I cannot resist the urge to doodle doo thru it. This has cracked him up for years.

Every time someone in my house says “so hot” the entire rest of the house follows with “hot damn”....but it’s happened SO many times that now it comes out totally deadpan, like some kind of benediction or something. 😂

Every time I ..... watch this BEST. MOVIE. EVER. with DH (for the millionth time), he laughs sooooo hard at this ONE particular scene just as hard as he did when he first saw it years ago. It brings me joy because although I find it VERY funny, I don't LITERALLY laugh out loud like DH does! Lol when DH and I are driving and we miss a turn someone will yell YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY and the other will answer HOW DO YOU KNOW WHERE I'M GOING, YA JERK 😁

When we drive by a cow we all say "Cow"... then when we drive by another cow we say "Another cow", just like in the movie Twister. My girls are well in to adult hood and now their spouses say it too! LOL!

Every time we pass a field of cows, I always point and say,"Look! Moo cows!" so that my kids will look. They are 17 and 18 and are less than amused. We drive by cows everyday on the way to school and I have to say it. I can't help it. I'm caring on that tradition in our family with my granddaughters.I drive them home from school. We pass cows, horses and goats. The girls are 10 and 12. Sometimes they roll their eyes at me and sometimes they call it before I do. We also yell Car Fart if I ever drive over a rumble strip.Rumble strips are bumpy pavement marks to alert you that you are drifting. It's rare but occasionally happens on curvy roads.

Every time it rains, I find myself singing Luke Bryan's "Rain is a Good Thing" - especially while I am getting ready for work and it is raining.
Rain makes corn....corn makes whiskey....
I go with the Eurythmics. Here comes the rain again, falling on my head like a memory...

Every time I put on boots,I sing These Boots are Made for Walking. How to know you grew up in Oklahoma.. this song came out when I was a young kid. I always ALWAYS thought it was about flat heeled cowboy boots. I finally saw the video with Nancy Sinatra just a year or so ago. I was totally gobsmacked to not see a single pair of cowboy boots... only 1960-70 "go-go" boots. I still am shocked to not see one pair of western style cowboy boots.

LOL! Hahaha I was going to post this one too. We do it here too. As a matter of fact, I can finish the “every time I...” sentence with “see ‘Twister’ in the TV guide, I have to turn it on. And it’s always at the scene where they’re eating at Aunt Meg’s house. I also have to say “Eat Me!” like the cookie in Shrek when I bite a gingerbread man.

Every time someone suggests soup for lunch I say “Soup Gary?” in a weird accent and actually now I have no idea why or where it came from which makes it even more pointless and stupid 😛

I teach 6th grade math. Every time I pass a school bus I factor the bus number down to prime factors. It's my own Sheldon moment.
