What is on your to do list for today or for the week?
We are driving back from a spontaneous overnight camping trip so when we get home it will be: -Unpack the Jeep - Start laundry - Clean the kitchen -In-laws are coming next weekend so will start deep cleaning the house and do a bit each night. - Hope to set some pendants with resin at some point today. - DH wants to get tires balanced and an oil change done on some vehicles also, so I will be running around with that.
What is on your list and please remember to check back in

It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day so it’s time to tame the jungle growing around my house. I wish I were one of those people who love to work in the yard but NOPE! It’s a total chore for me, but at least I’ll be soaking in some much-needed Vitamin D . We did Easter dinner yesterday, so today my kids WILL be working on their rooms and laundry. And then Game of Thrones...

Easter egg hunt (kids) and Bloody Marys (grown ups) in the cul de sac Prep for the week (laundry, cooking, a few chores around the house) If the weather holds, I should get out and get some gardening done! Grade the papers I'm trying to ignore...

I made a lemon pound cake last evening. This morning, the husband and I split cooking chores for the rest of the meal. I cleaned the powder room and he ran the vacuum. Just waiting for his dad and stepmom now for lunch.
I've got one load of clothes in the dryer and will probably do one more. Other than that, just some piddling stuff.
Can't wait until Game of Thrones tonight!

So far this morning a lot of nothing. I did go to Walgreens and get some candy for my kids who are coming later. They’ve been at their dads this week, so I didn’t have to rush. I’m grabbing an early lunch now, then heading outside to pull dead winter out of my flower beds. I might put some grass seed down in the backyard bare spots too. That’s really al that’s on my list for today. I want time to chill out and read too.

-- Walk my dog with a neighbor and her dog (our Sunday morning usual). DONE -- Go to church. DONE -- Go to the grocery store to pick up some plastic Easter eggs because dd suddenly decided that she wants to hide some for our dog next weekend when she comes home. lol -- DONE -- Peel a rutabaga. Never cooked one in my life but this is an experiment. They look hard to manage so this is a task that gets its own line. DONE -- Cook ham. DONE -- Cook turnips and carrots in the Instant Pot. DONE -- Make a decision on how to cook asparagus. DONE -- Cut up strawberries. DONE -- Roast rutabaga. IN PROGRESS -- Put together our healthy dessert (vs. the pie we usually buy) of yogurt and strawberries. -- Get myself organized to go back to subbing tomorrow (we've just had spring break). I was at the hospital a lot of Holy Week but being off of school has been a nice break. -- Watch a few more episodes of "Bones". IN PROGRESS in between doing kitchen things.

Just got home from the last ski weekend of the year, but tomorrow is a stat holiday, so no work or school, so I can spread my to do list over two days 👍🏻 Mostly I just want to get our back yard tidied up from being under four feet of snow for six months and then get things fertilized and ready for summer gardening. I don’t have a real list, because when I get out there, I will undoubtably find a million more little tasks to add!

Did not get as much done as I wanted. I really felt like napping today.
-Jeep cleaned out -My laundry washed and dried, still need to fold, DH’s is in the dryer now. -Cleaned some of the kitchen, but need to deep clean. -Took the puppers for a walk. -Oil changed and tires balanced. -Started prepping pendants, but need to decide what colors with what charms so setting them in resin will have to wait a day or two.
Will do deep cleaning throughout the week for in-laws visit on Saturday.
What did you get done and what is on your list for the week?

Absolutely this^^^ Had lunch with DD and SIL and our three grandies yesterday at home. I am still tidying up and putting away platters and crockery! We had a busy day with the egg hunt after lunch and the excitement of their find. I was exhausted when the went home.

This morning we closed on a house we have been trying to sell for NINE years. All I want to do this week is celebrate!! Seriously. But I also have an eye exam on Wednesday to see about an eye surgery I might be able to do since my eyes are too bad for LASIK.
