FYI - I'll be away and unable to post the June challenges. Are we ok to skip a month? I'm assuming there will be plenty of challenges in the monthly team thread to motivate and inspire you throughout June.
Now, onto May. How about a blind scraplift challenge? I'll describe a layout and you can scraplift it following my description. You can substitute (eg a single photo can become a block of photos) just as you would with any other sketch or recipe. At the end of the month I'll add the inspiration layout to this post.
My layout has:
a background made of 2 large papers, one showing just a little border, the other making up the rest of the background
a single 4x6 photo
the photo is close to (but not quite touching) one edge of the background
a layered stack of papers underneath the photo
title is below the photo
title is a mix of pre-made words and alpha stickers
journaling is below the title
there are three embellishments groupings - on top of the photo, to one side of the photo, and below the journaling
one embellishment grouping is quite large, one is medium sized, and one is small
the embellishments have a variety of textures
the date is stamped
there are ink splatters near the embellishments (but could easily be replaced with any little sprinkly thing that is more to your style, eg enamel dots, brads, nuvos, sequins, tiny wood veneer)
I can't wait to see what your lift of my layout looks like!

I love it, it's pretty much like a visual riddle free for everyone to interpret as they "see" it. Great idea!
