This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items or any other creative projects. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . There are no prizes for this challenge, just a chance to enjoy the works of other Pokey Peas Refugees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Happy May Day!
When I was a girl, I'd go pick spring flowers for my mother for May Day. They were mostly weeds, but she treated them as if they were the most beautiful flowers from the most expensive shop. I think I'll have to get her some flowers for Mother's Day.

I'll be joining the Pokey Peas this month as I won't be doing a lot of scrappy work (but definitely need to get at least 4 LOs done). Pardon me for inserting myself into the club. Happy May Day to everyone celebrating! It's Workers' Day here and everyone had the day off (except the emergency, police services and hospital workers). Good luck finding a fresh baguette or city bus on May 1st in France.

Happy May Day! msliz your story reminded me that while DGS and I were outside playing the other night he picked a dandelion for my hair and told me I had to wear it forever! I remember making May Day baskets from paper with paper flowers in them for the door. I was off today too and thought some crafting might happen, but things aren't coming together. I would rather be scrapping the kits I put together for this weekend lol. I figured I would take a break from that. Now to cook dinner and finish up the packing for my crop this weekend. I'm so excited to scrap with IRL with someone! I really miss the LLS's and Friday night crops. I hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Thanks for starting the new thread, nylene. Happy May Day! It SNOWED this morning. Good luck finding any wildflowers around here! I am in the city this evening. Dh had a follow up appointment for the procedure he had in February. All seems to have gone well. He says he passed the stress test “with flying colours”. But he is pretty played out so we are staying the night. I have my photos sorted and papers selected to take to our weekend crop, and piles of tubs of other things like washi and wood pieces, and of course LISTS. I had thought I would have all Friday morning to pack, but now a land man wants to “drop by” on Friday morning to discuss a pipeline right of way. It means some income, but those sessions always take more time than I want them to.

May Day! MAY DAY! The year is flying by isnt it? Is it supposed to be Spring? We are having snow AGAIN also, grammadee. I am soooo over winter & being cold. I need to motivate from vegging in front of our nice cozy fire & get my packing done for our retreat. I leave tomorrow @ 8 a.m. More later...... anyway, Happy May, my Pokey Friends!

Responding to the end of April’s chats and the beginning of May’s. nylene, your contracting son and his wife are amazing! I think that the extras go a long way, but it comes down to the quality of the work in the end. Which is why your son is always busy. As to Don’s stitches they were each individually tied off, but they didn’t treat each cut as a separate injury. Maybe they couldn’t due to the proximity of the cuts. Don took them out one each day this week while he was in Boston. Happy Birthday to your dh! Prayers for his surgery. Is his surgery on his birthday? grammadee, I left love for March and April pages on other threads, but the Overhead at the Kids Table is absolutely adorable in it’s design and the story just tickled me! This is the best types of memories to capture. Love it so much!! You can keep that dang snow!! It actually snowed at the new house while we were gone but not at the farm. Luckily it did not stick around long. Enjoy your IRL crop and I'll see you on our crop thread when you can get there. kellyr21, I hope you are feeling better this week. So not fun. I hope you get lots of fun time with your art this week. justlisa7, potty training a puppy and helping your mom is a lot! You will need a vacation and what better vacation than visiting your dd in Hawaii. @elaynef, I knew your friend passed but was unaware that you had a virus. I’m so sorry you’ve been sick on top of dealing with the grief. Hugs to you, sweet friend. I hope you are healthy now. Maybe the trip will lift your spirits. msliz, what a sweet memory. I had always wanted to do a page about how dandelions given by a young boy (my son) was now one of my favorite flowers. I even have the photos all printed but never got around to finishing it. It was one of those, I want it to be special pages which always seems to get put off. I'll see you on the crop thread this weekend. sleepingbooty, welcome! Mmm, fresh baguettes. I hope you enjoyed your day off. patin, yay for your retreat. If you get a chance could you pop in to the April team challenge PM and give me your April totals. Thanks. Linda, so how is your May weekend’s looking? You were so busy each weekend in April. Are you excited for dd to be coming home? I’m home from my trip back home. Lol. DH is on his way home from Boston where he came down with the stomach flu while there. I just poached a chicken and will pull it apart to make stock and creamy chicken and dumplings for his arrival home tonight. Meal time is back on my lap during the crop as I don’t want him touching anything! But I have a plan so I think it will be all good. We arrived home to the fire alarms doing the chirp thing. I thought batteries. Usually it’s pop them apart and replace. All good. Nope, these are hard wired into the house. The power had gone out while we were away so that could have caused it. I did a reset of 2 last night & it stopped the chirp until 3 am when it started back up. UGH! After finishing here, I’m going to shut my computer down and then turn off all the circuit breakers and then remove each alarm, see if it does have a battery backup in there. Then plug them in again and turn everything back on. Maybe it just needs a power reset. The crop starts tonight and I’m so not ready (I wanted to be more prepared) and yet I’m so excited at the same time!! It’ll probably be my only crop time this month. So happy crafting!!

LisaDV - lol, I think my May is a bit less busy than April was. No plans this weekend except for the crop. DH and DD12 are camping the 2nd weekend (and I do hope DH doesn't ask me to fill in at the last minute). The 3rd weekend I have another Girl Scout lock-in and I think that the last weekend is free as of now. DD18 came home yesterday - it's nice having her home. She'll turn 19 on Tuesday. I hope your DH is feeling better soon and doesn't share. Good luck with the fire alarms - I hate that chirping noise Scrapping today and tonight...I hope.

Oh my goodness LisaDV I just saw that you put in a challenge where we get one point for every scrappy dollar we spend this month. You can't tempt me that way. I'm a little embarrassed by how many points I would have gotten in April! I am so excited! I have three friends staying at our house this weekend (including grammadee) while five of us hit the LSS crop. We have matching T shirts that I whipped up on my Silhouette. I also have play rehearsal tonight. So we had really low turnout at our auditions, so instead of directing a one act play, I am acting in two one act plays. We have like 8 people taking on more than one part. I may have overbooked myself again because I have something scheduled Mon-Thurs evenings until the last week in June! I finished my first LOAD page last night and hope to get today's page finished before rehearsal.

I just saw that you put in a challenge where we get one point for every scrappy dollar we spend this month. You can't tempt me that way. I'm a little embarrassed by how many points I would have gotten in April! I usually only spend a few dollars per month, but I know there will be sales. BUT with the new grand nephew, I decided I needed to buy quilting supplies for him and his older brother. So I just spent $273 plus change at 2 stores to get that going. I wish I could come see you in your plays. I hope you share a photo of the group in your t-shirts. Linda, when does dd go back or is she home for summer? I think you might need to have an ill feeling coming on sometime right before the 2nd weekend so you don't have to go camping. I couldn't get the fire alarms off, but when I reset the circuit breakers the chirping stopped. So all is good. I think the fire department does inspections or something so I may call them to see. Or see who I should call. DD had the gumption to go look for morels this morning, so I went with her. We didn't think we'd find any since ds went yesterday evening after getting home. He joined us today, and we found quite a few. However, ticks are really bad here (another reason to miss my chickens). Off to get lunch prepped and shower so I can play with scrapbooking (maybe check the digi sites and see if they have sales starting yet ).

justjac - how fun to have scrappy friends! I miss that! Good luck with your plays - that does sound like a ton of work but fun also! LisaDV - hmmm...that's a good idea about the camping...it's too hot in May for camping here, imo. I saw your scrappy dollars challenge also - I'm firmly in the freezer this month, shopped too much LAST month and need to scrap and free up some space. Unless photo developing $$ count? I usually order weekly. DD is home foe the summer - she goes back in late August (wow - such a long break).

I am home and my scrap crap is all packed up ready to be loaded into the vehicle in the morning. I have considerably less than usual, so either I am becoming more efficient, or I have forgotten to pack whole categories of things I will desperately NEED as soon as I start to scrap. Looking forward to hanging out with justjac and friends for the weekend! patin, and joyfulnana, I hope you enjoy your crafty weekends. I will probably take you up on your spending challenge, LisaDV. I told myself I wouldn't be buying much at the crop b/c the LSS lady had a huge stack of pre orders for me when I stopped in the other day. But, there will be a store at the crop. And everything in it is discounted. And I can just browse and find the perfect little extra for a page and just put it on my tab... Oh, and I don't lug cardstock to a crop, so I will be buying that as I need it. nylene, I hope your dh is doing well. When is his surgery? kellyr21, I hope you are feeling better as well. LisaDV, I hope your dh feels better and doesn't share his germs. Too bad he can't cook this weekend. In Canada we have something they call "Skip the Dishes" where they deliver full meals. Not out here in the country, but in the cities... @elaynef, I am sorry to hear you were not feeling well this past few months. I hope you have a wonderful time with the family in the next couple of weeks. And that you take lots of photos. I see that several Pokeys are planning to take part in the iNSD crop. Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!

sleepingbooty, we always enjoy having new members. So feel free to insert yourself and visit. Glad to have you. msliz, you have to finish your dandelion page. Those are really the ones that will mean so much in years to come. Linda, I'm glad you'll be a bit less tied up on weekends this month. I hope you will have some "me" time and do some scrapping. joyfulnana and patin, are your crops local to you or do you have to travel. I hope you have fun and get lots accomplished. grammadee, hooray for the good news about your DH. I'm sure you and LisaDV are both busy with the iNSD and May Team challenges this month. justjac, Overbooked yourself? No, couldn't be! Me thinks that happens often with you.LOL I wish I could come see both plays. What fun you must have once the hard word and rehearsals are over! Break a leg! (but not literally!) LisaDV, I hope you can get your fire alarms fixed. My DD and family were in MI for a week when theirs went off here in Utah; loud alarms and flashing lights. The neighbors next door and across the street called us and we tried to fix them. I don't remember what we had to do, but we contacted our son who built her home and he took care of it. I guess it had gone on all one night before they called us. I did a double take when you said you poached a chicken, my first thought was "poached" as in hunting. Gave me a giggle. @elaynef and kellyr21, I hope you are both feeling better. I'm sending virtual chicken soup! DH had his surgery this week and they actually removed some of the cancer. I'm glad they didn't tell us that ahead of time or I'd have been worried. They have been avoiding that for fear of it spreading into the center of the eyeball. It went well, but left his eye very red and raw and I have to put the chemo (fire water, says doctor) into that eye 3 times a day. In addition the saline solution is literally putting salt into the wound, so he's pretty miserable. Our kids have been very helpful. This week is filled with appts. with other doctors for his other ills. I spend more time in the car than when I had preteen kids going here and there. LOL He is a very kind patient and that makes it better. I missed out on signing up for May team challenges, but that's probably for the best. Instead of scrapping today, we had DSIL come work on a computer issue and our 17 year old DDG came with him and taught me more things on my phone. We had a great afternoon together looking through pictures and scrapbooks. She's a sweetie. I will try to hop on more often this month. I have 2 pages laid out on my table and hope to finish them sometime this weekend. Have a great rest-of-the-weekend of iNSD!

Hoping that all goes well with your dh's recovery, nylene . It is good the family has been around to help, but I know you are carrying a huge load of extra time and worry. Sending you both (((((HUGS))))) Hope you get some scrappy time and get to finish the pages you have started. Would love to see them. Home safe and sound from the crop weekend. Had a wonderful time, got 26 pages and 7 cards completed, but I am exhausted. Managed to take photos of my pages and cards at the crop with my phone, so managed to get those onto my computer when I got home, and upload a bunch of them to Flickr and linked to the Share thread. Oh yeah, and LisaDV, my "not going to spend much at the crop" did not go so well. I'm embarrassed to say how much I spent, but let me just say that it was "all for the team"... This board has been hopping while I was busy at the crop. So far, I have left love on 45 posts and nowhere near done. Lots left to catch up on in the Gallery, the share thread and the iNSD crop thread.

nylene , your idea of my poached chicken made me chuckle. I'm glad the surgery went well, but wow, how long does he have to have the chemo and saline put into his eye. Sounds miserable, but if they can get all of the cancer that would be wonderful. I'm so glad you have your family to help you. Praying for healing and strength. grammadee , DH felt better before arriving home, but felt much better after a good nights sleep. I just didn't want to take a chance with dd's lower immune system. Plus DS always slows down on school productivity when we travel and when he has braces work done. He had both. Plus he's traveling with DH at the end of this month so I don't want him to get sick. Our biggest problem with eating out or delivery is they often don't take food sensitivities into consideration. DD can't eat so many things. Gluten is fairly easy out, but onion (even onion powder) sets her off and that's way more difficult to avoid. ** Way to take one for the team, Dee! We all appreciate your monetary sacrifice! Well at least I do since you're on my team this month. Not to mention all those points for the pages and cards! It's much easier to chat, scrap and shop, when you don't have other things going on and other people in your face. I only created 10 pages. I told DH that I might go to the farm for some scrap time more often while it's warm, since we hope to shut it down in the winter. Although this month when I have downtime I want to work on some quilts. I have a dishwasher, freezer, and microwave being delivered today. However, I don't know if a new dishwasher will help. I realize it's a high iron content in our water that may be giving me problems. There is suppose to be an iron filter but it lowers my water pressure drastically to run it. I may try it again anyway. Tomorrow will be errands - you know we arrived last Wednesday & I only ran out for bananas and cookies, so we need things like milk, eggs, more fruit, etc. The rest of the week, my goal is to get the wallpaper off in DS's room & the small strip in DD's room, plus sanitize her room since it's where DH has been sleeping. (DH is gone this week). Then next weekend when DH is home, both kids will move to their own rooms. Yay! Wishing all of the pokey's a wonderful week ahead.

Linda , thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We are very encouraged and hope the chemo is doing its job. grammadee , way to take one ($) for the team. LOL. I hope you got some fun new papers and embellishments. I have done a little commenting, but hope to get to more this week. Made a bunch of cards for Card Club next week and finished both of my pages. I have one scanned and will get to the other soon. LisaDV, it sounds like you have a lot going. I vote that you go to the farm and scrap several times in the next few months. Congrats on all the pages completed. Here is one page I completed. It is really special to me because the large inked flower was made by our dear Cindy (Scrapincin). She sent me a box of fun flowers she made and little by little I am using them all up. This one was the perfect color for my background. I always get weepy though when I use one. How I miss her. I have Silhouette questions I need to ask. (Sigh) It's been a year since her passing at the end of the month and it feels like just yesterday. Mr & Mrs DH had an appt with the Macular doctor today and one on Friday with his surgeon. A Derm. appt is coming up soon. This getting old is not for sissies! Have a great week, everyone!

Hi Pokey friends! I thought I'd drop by to catch up on things. I really wanted to do some scrapping for NSD, but I ended up being busy all weekend. We went to a fundraiser for a Hispanic community center on Friday, took the kids to see John Crist (a comedian) on Saturday and I played bridge with the neighbors on Sunday. It was a super busy, fun weekend. I did spend a little time trying to organize my scrappy space, I cannot create if it's messy...I think I'm weird that way. I am so happy that it's spring again...I love it when all of the trees and flowers bloom. We moved to our new house last year at this time, so we are excited to do some landscaping in the yard this year. We have a fence being put up in our front yard this week, so then we can start putting our flower beds in so I can plant some more bulbs. Nylene - I'm praying for you and Steve. Having chemo put in his eye sounds awful. I'm glad that the doctors were able to remove some of the cancer when they did the surgery. I hope that he regains some of his vision and that the cancer clears. Your LO is beautiful! I understand how you feel about Cindy, she was a really sweet lady. The flower looks perfect on your page. Lisa - Despite the fact that I haven't scrapped anything...I probably belong in your spending challenge. I don't buy scrappy/art supplies like I used to, but I still buy more than I need. Also, I'm afraid of ticks...eew! I'm thinking buying mushrooms at the store sounds like a good plan. Grammadee and Justjac - I hope you had lots of fun over the weekend! I hope that everyone's week is off to a great start!

I just get it cleaned up and then I can't stand it, I HAVE TO scrap...of course that messes it all up again. It's a cycle. Have a great week. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns. nylene, your page is lovely. So sweet that you were able to use scrapincin's flower and take some time to remember her. She was, indeed, a sweet lady, and we all miss her. I really love looking at the little turtles she created for us for our signatures: they always make me smile. I have been busy going through the Gallery and the share threads for the challenges and the iNSD crop, and have been amazed by all the creativity this past weekend. Happy to see projects by many of the Pokeys: patin, msliz, justjac, Linda.. And of course LisaDV was a whirling dervish: hosting, creating, commenting, starting and joining into conversations. I was getting whiplash just THINKING about everything you were doing! joyfulnana and justlisa7, I know you have been busy, but I hope you were able to take a little time to play as well. shinyhappytina, I am like nylene. Handling all my pretties makes me want to create, and as soon as I have the space cleared I am dragging out something to mess it up again! I am stretching out my unpacking from the crop. I put away the tools and tubs of embellishments, but as I am unpacking the papers, I am going through the box of photos I had packed, and creating pages as I go. That way it will take me a LONG time to unpack, but I will have a lot of pages done! Here are the two-pagers I put together yesterday and today: My Happy Place by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Check THIS out! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

nylene , your page is so sweet and beautiful. That heart die cut adds so much and Cindy's flower , I have been missing her too. As we got ready for the crop, I wanted to make a signature badge, and of course, who would I have gone to to ask how to do it, but Cindy, which made me sad. Then I thought the same thing, it's coming up on a whole year and it doesn't really seem that long. How did the macular dr. visit go? shinyhappytina , the no scrapping but still purchasing like I was, is how I came to have a large room filled with stuff. Unfortunately my style has changed and I don't use the distressed papers as much. Now I like bright tones and no distressing. * Whenever we move I'm interested to see what comes up the first year. Our appliances did not come. They seem to have very poor communication between the company and the delivery company. So it will be rescheduled. Of couse, I put off starting a project and by the time I found out it was too late to start something. Yesterday was running around. After the weekend and a few nights of DD not doing well which means less sleep for me, I went back to bed today after the dogs & birthday thread. So my wallpaper has not been attacked at all this week. I just don't do well when I lack sleep. I have a massive headache for the last 2 days. I have gotten lots of small things finished, so I guess it's not a total waste. grammadee, left love on the sketch page for home, but the check this out has lots of great embellishments and movement. Very cool.

grammadee - love those - the big banners on Happy PLace are fab! i love the big circle on Check this out and the cool string of die cuts! shinyhappytina - I miss spring bulbs - they just don't grow in my area as it doesn't get cold enough in the winter. beautiful page nylene - love that heart background and that flower is so special! You and your DH remain in my prayers. LisaDV - glad no one else got sick - sanitising where DH was sleeping sounds wise. Wallpaper stripping doesn't sound like much fun though. Took DD19 to the dentist this morning - she did a great job checking in and filling out paperwork and going back by herself (she has a lot of anxiety in general - not dentist specific - but about new things/talking to people/making phone calls) - she did have them come out and talk to me because she's being referred to an oral surgeon to have her wisdom teeth out. AND she called the oral surgeon and made the evaluation appt herself also! Very proud of her! Now I'm cleaning the house - I had a migraine yesterday plus DD19's birthday celebration so not much got done and it shows. Hoping to get some scrappy time once I'm done

Happy Wednesday! Wishing you all a good day. Lots of you are scraping and that is amazing! I made some cards for Mother's Day. Will be making a few more tonight. Well, I had some unexpected excitement today. I has sitting in my living room and all of a sudden the carbon monoxcide alarm went off. I have never heard it peep so I was concerned. I thought maybe it was the batteries so I checked. But not sure. I heard other alarms going off also. I live in a 20 or so apartment building. Thankfully the manager was here as several alarms were peeping. Long story short, we are all ok. The fire dept and the gas company came and checked. They said our alarms were all installed around the same time and after 7 yrs they need to be changed. So tomorrow they will replace our device. Boy, that was a little nerve racking as we had to be out of our apts for a while until they figured it all out. So when I read LisaDV fire alarm beeping situation, I can relate! Well on a better note, I went to a women's expo over the weekend. It was so cool. They had it at out local convention center. They had lots of vendors selling all kinds of things like jewelry, clothes, services and etc. I found the craft area and make a wall décor piece. I ran out of energy for the free art class. Maybe next time. They had speakers on various topics. That chef Anne Burrell and Tori Spelling were a few I got to hear. It was a fun weekend and I will post some pictures of my experience. nylene- Oh Nylene, I am sooooo glad to hear your dh had the surgery. Yes, your dh is a real trooper and really hanging in there. I hope he continues to get well and finishes all his treatment soon. That doesn't sound fun. That lo you made using Cindy's flower is so beautiful!!! What a tribute to her great skill and joy of crafting. I do miss her so and still can't believe it happened. Geez! God bless her family now too. That first year after a loss is tough. Oh, isn't your birthday this month??? I can't remember the date but I do remember you are a May gal like me. LisaDV- What a bummer for your deliveries to be delayed!!! I know you will be glad when you are all settled into your new home. That fire alarm sounds like it was a headache especially lasting that long. Today, I discovered the gas company and the fire departments are glad to answer questions and come out to help. The gas co. guy checked our furnance and showed me some helpful things. It smells like crazy every year we turn it on in winter and this past winter, I just said forget it and didn't use it. So the guy said call anytime to have it checked. Tomorrow, they will clean it up. So that is something good that came out of this crazy day. grammadee- Oh how much fun you had at that crop. You got a lot of pages done too. How is the farm these days? Have the flowers began to bloom? justjac- How are the rehearsals going? What is the name of the play? @elaynef- Sending your a big HELLO and hope you are doing well this week. linda- Your dd is a BRAVE GIRL!!!! I hope she is celebrating herself too. So awesome! Man, I am a grown woman and I get nervous about those types of calls and appts too. So tell her it is so normal and ok. Waving hello to you all and have a great evening y'all!

DH saw the Retina Dr. at the end of the week and he didn't say much about the cancer. Of course it isn't his specialty. But today the Cancer Surgeon gave us good news. He won't declare him cancer free yet, and asked us to hang on to the chemo drops just in case, but his quote was, "You are my hero. You have healed so fast and it seems to be totally gone. I hope you know you have had some help from outside of this world!" We are thrilled! At the first appt he made it sound like it would be months of chemo. He has to stay away from people until Tues. and then he can do whatever he wants. He has a 6 week recheck scheduled. I am so grateful and I know that all the prayers have helped him. Thanks, everyone. patin , I somehow skipped over your post. I'm glad to know you are getting some scrapping done. I need to got look over the Team Challenges postings. I hope you and DH are both still doing well. LisaDV , I am sorry about your appliances. I know you are anxious to get the wallpaper off, but it will still be there tomorrow and it sounds like DD has needed you and you need enough sleep. Hang in there, busy lady! You deserve a break after all you did over iNSD. grammadee , your pages are so sweet. I love grandchildren photos and you always have new designs and new techniques. I'm glad you are trying new and different things in scrapping. I need to be more adventuresome. justjac , when are your play performances? How are the rehearsals going? Linda , I really appreciate your prayers. I know you have done some scrapping already this month, and I'll catch them on the Team page this weekend. I'm really happy that your DD did all the legwork for her Dental issues. Kids need to see themselves succeed in little things like that so they can be confident adults. You're doing a great job. kellyr21 , How cool that you could attend a Women's Expo. I'm sure you saw some interesting things. What kind of wall decor did you make? I always love your Mother's Day cards/albums.You always choose the most beautiful papers. Be sure to take photos and post them so we can enjoy them, or put them on your blog. Is it getting hot in your area? We are tending cats for neighbors who are enjoying Disneyland right now. I hope the weather is good for them. Hugs to you. msliz , you have become a prolific scrapper. I will catch up with your May posts this weekend. How is your daughter doing? Does heat make her feel less well? Hope things are going well with you and yours. woodysbetty , so are you moving in? If not, I'm sure you are getting ready! I need to get dinner, so I will wish you each a Happy Mother's Day!I look forward to a relaxing day. Dh can't go to Church yet, so I'm staying home with him!

nylene - Wonderful news about your DH - I'll continue praying that the recheck is also positive! kellyr21 -sounds like fun at the expo! But way too much excitment over the alarms woodysbetty -yes, we need house updates! How is everyone's weekend? DD12 and Dh went camping with Girl Scouts so I'm home with DD19 (neither of us drive so we're actually HOME all weekend) Happy Mother's Day Weekend to everyone!

Linda, what a great job for DD19! I don’t envy you the migraine and hope you are better. kellyr21, those alarms are great for their use, but battery or (sometimes just cooking that sets them off) can be a bit frustrating. I’d rather have a bit of frustration than go without in the long run. I probably go overboard with fire alarms and was happy to see the previous owners felt the same way. I’m surprised their smoking didn’t set them off all the time. Your women’s expo sounds very interesting. nylene, I’m so very happy to hear this news. Praying for a clear 6 week recheck. I started DS’s room yesterday and am halfway through the removal. I hope to finish up today. DD’s new medicine, fingers crossed, is starting to help. She’s had 2 fairly decent days. Still a few sick points after doing too much or getting frustrated. Her bubbly personality is more present and it’s very good to see. Fingers crossed that she will continue this. Ok, off to get something done. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
