I'm still working with my Cameo 2 and it's going strong. Same here. And the Cameo 2 is a better size for my desk area than the 3.

I saw the Silhouette School article recommending that customers consider getting the Cameo 3 before they are gone. I just can't justify it, though. My Cameo 2 is still doing great.

I saw the Silhouette School article recommending that customers consider getting the Cameo 3 before they are gone. She has a ton of great content on her blog - but sometimes... oye. She might be getting a kickback or some type of compensation on any sold. Everything on her site is 'affiliated' and highly monetized. That's why I don't ever recommend anyone going to her site. The popups alone drive me batty.

There aren't any rolls of 20" vinyl available either... maybe the market will support that when they release it... I haven't bought sticky vinyl recently so I don't know about that. Siser heat transfer vinyl absolutely has 20 inch wide, I have many colors in that size. I just cut it down for my Silhouette Curio. I don't make huge designs so a max of 8-1/2 by 12 is fine for me.
For people who would love the wider cutter, there are already many materials out that are that size and I'm sure will be many more coming.

It has more power and pressure, so it can cut heavier materials. It has a roller blade and an exacto blade, like the Cricut Maker, for cutting fabric and for balsa wood. It can cut longer lengths than the Maker. It's a machine to compete with Cricut Maker, but with far better software! I'm excited that Design Space will finally be available off line by end of the year, but I hope they fix up DS too. Many things make my eye twitch. And I do find it funny that a few years ago we were told that DS couldn't work offline. Then came offline for the iPhone/iPad and a few years later and now the computer. They certainly work at a snail's pace.
