Coffee and cream (real cream, not flavoured creamer). I can’t think of a time we’ve run out of coffee, but it would be a red alert if we did!

Iced tea, there has to be a pitcher in the fridge at any given time.
Olives and/or pickles of some sort. I crave salty food and I figure they're at least better for me than potato chips.

Tea and peanut butter. I don't actually need anything for the peanutbutter to go on, I'll eat it with a spoon if I have to.

chocolate Coke or anything with caffeine
ETA: The gotta have it for others in my family is beef jerky, crushed ice, Snyder's pretzels, dill pickle slices, pepperoni, fruit snacks, hot dogs, yogurt, shredded cheese, croutons, peppermint lifesavers (or tic tacs and altoids) peanut butter, potato chips, or doritos. Usually my son has his one item of the day he'll eat non stop. I never know what that will be, but most of those are the usual favorites.

Coffee is probably the only thing I couldn't do without for a day. Preferably with a splash of milk, but I'll drink it black if necessary. One to two cups to get the morning started. Otherwise, I'm a pretty flexible eater. And I can always make do with just water to drink -- I don't drink any sodas or sugary drinks anyway. That's not to say I don't have preferred things I keep on hand -- red wine and plain greek yogurt come to mind.

Tea and milk - equally important. Some form of chocolate. I’m being very good lately but I am “allowed” a little chocolate in the evenings and if there’s wasn’t any I would probably panic 😉Actually, not probably, I would actually panic 😀

The only item I would make a special trip to the store for is milk. Everything else is non essential for us.

For me, as crazy as it sounds, it's milk. I'm basically addicted. [ No, that doesn’t sound crazy at all. I have a coffee machine at home, so milk is absolutely essential for the 5 or so cappuccinos I have every day. I don’t drink fizzy drinks so I only drink water or milk. And I have it on my cereal. So yeah, milk is my #1 “gotta have it” item. And then I have to have chocolate or biscuits (cookies) to go with all that coffee I’m drinking. 😜

Probably coffee. The lack of it would send me to the store like nothing else would.

The only must-have for me is either half n half or flavored creamer. Doesn't matter which, but I won't drink coffee without one of those.
If we ran out of coffee itself, I'd be sad but not as sad as being faced with drinking it black or with skim milk.

TEA. If I open the cupboard and see that I’m out ~ “now we have a problem”. This is the first thing that jumped into my mind too.
