I’m having an issue where pictures and screen captures are not showing up in my camera roll. And I can’t access the pictures for posting anywhere.
Research says at this point I need to do the full reset. I’m putting it off because having to sign in to all my apps and accounts sounds like such a pain.
I’ve tried all the other tricks recommended.
Any experience/tips?

every ap you have downloaded, every photo on your camera roll every contact on your list will disappear. It will be like you are taking it out of the box for the first time. SO make sure to back everything up to the cloud so you can reload it.

But it’s been almost 3 weeks and I hate not being able to use the camera, take a screenshot, or post to IG, FB, or even here

Actually, don't back it up to the cloud. If you have a Mac, do a full, encrypted backup to iTunes (I am not sure if you can do that on PC iTunes, but I would expect you can). It has to be encrypted so it will backup the states of all your apps, including logins, etc.
Restoring from a full, encrypted backup is the most painless way.

If it doesn't work, you can do a standard backup to iCloud (make sure you have space for everything) and reset, then start reinstalling everything and logging back in.

I did the reset, and so far things are fine. It seems to have solved the problems I was having, and it wasn’t hard.

Connect your phone to the computer first without syncing it to iTunes. Go to window explorer and find your phone there. Right click and import your pictures first. Try it several times if it doesn’t register them first. If that doesn’t work click on the phone and see what files come up. You should be able to find the picture files. You can copy those folders to your computer.
