I have a few mixed drinks, then eat. I have insomnia, so I read. I can't eat when I'm stressed. I just tell myself to move on. It's hard, but if it's my day off, I still get up and do something. It might be little, but better than just sitting around.

If it's emotional stress I take it out on the bathroom and kitchen surfaces and floors. Serious stress cleaning.
If it's work related, mostly just b!tch to others!

Get extremely snappy. It’s something I have to consciously control when I feel stress creeping up. The end of the school year is always so stressful, so I’m having to do a lot of controlling it right now!
Dang I sure wish I stressed cleaned!

Eat lots of chips. Sour and salty. I also chomp on ice and pick a very specific spot on my scalp. I have no idea why, I wear headbands to stop myself. (that one started with my PTSD How lovely! )
