Yup. Love it. Put me, my bff and a couple of bottles of wine together and we have a blast! That's me and my bff too ... especially when we make rude comments about The Bachelor episodes as we drink

I always told my kids "If you are going to do it, I'm going to drink it !" We're all still alive so it must have been a good tactic. I love a dry white with a little bite or a smooth red. nothing to sweet. finding a new favorite is like finding a new author. I love knowing there's more where that came from.

We just moved to Temecula and I have discovered a few good wineries and I have lots more to check out - it is going to take me a while to try them all though. I joined one of the clubs on Sunday and you get two free glasses or flights of tasters on each visit and only have to buy two bottles every two months (for a total of 6 months) - I have been twice already and think I am getting my monies worth I have a feeling I will join at least one more winery before the end of the year. I don't just drink white or reds I like them all depending on moods. I especially like Viogniers - lots of nectarine flavor without being too sweet. I also like sparkling wines and have discovered one chocolate wine that is good - it is like a decadent dessert while not being too sweet - I have tried many and even at the same winery only one of the five tastes good to me but boy does it taste good. I don't normally like dessert wines of any kind. I also enjoy good craft beer and sometimes good tequila.

I like a pinot noir starting this time of year until summer, when I switch to cocktails made with clear liquor.

In the summer, I gravitate toward cool crisp whites. As the weather cools, I sway toward the reds. My favorite is Petit Syrah or Amarone.

I love reds. I only drink white on occasion--mostly in warm weather with certain dishes. If I'm sipping, it's always red. I keep the corks from the bottles we open at home and could probably recreate every cork craft you've seen on Pinterest and have a few corks left over!

I love wine. I drink it a little too often. My fave is when I am cooking dinner. It just makes the whole experience more pleasant. Yellowtail's Sweet Red Roo is my poison of choice. My husband does not enjoy wine with me. He's a beer drinker (bleck! No thanks!)

Yup, that's my drink of choice. I live about 3 hours away from an area with about 30 wineries. I vacation there for a week every summer plus take weekend trips 2-3 times a year, so I go wine tasting frequently I like semi-dry reds and whites, depending on what I'm in the mood for or if I'm eating too. Me, me! I have a pinterest board devoted to wine quotes, lol. I have a glass or two every day.
I love a dry red wine. Lately, I have been enjoying a couple of blends. Like Spongemom Scrappants, I really like Chilean red wines. I also really like Italian red wines.
I have a few favourites that are my 'go to' wines, and then I enjoy trying different things as they come on sale at the liquor store. Especially something that is full-bodied and smooth.

Wish he would enjoy wine with me...

I have a collection of wine. We go to Nebraska City to the Arbor Day Farms and get a case twice a year. Plus we love hitting wineries and will usually buy at least one bottle. I usually have around 30-60 bottles. I need a wine rack!
My fav though are the sweets to semi-sweets. I love Moscato, especially a d'asti.

Mmm...Wine. Said in my best Homer Simpson impression. I prefer a semi-sweet white wine. I am no wine snob either; cheap wine is just fine

Yes! I didn't used to care for it, but now I do. I went to a wine tasting with my sister and that is when I truly started to enjoy. I like sweet wines, red or white. Not a fan of dry. Love to eat dark chocolate with a nice red wine. YUM! For Father's Day this year, my sister and I took my Dad to this new restaurant. It is a winery, too. So for an appetizer we did the wine and cheese tasting. That was 4 glasses of wine per person plus the cheese. And these were not just a little sample either, these were large servings of wine! So that was 12 glasses of wine on the table. For the main course, my sister and dad wanted to taste the wines that were complimentary to their dinner choice, so our server brought 2 more glasses of wine for each of us. We are up to 18 glasses of wine on the table now... And finally, for dessert you just have to go with the wine and chocolate tasting. I mean, really, is there a different option? That was 3 more glasses of wine for each of us. So at the end of dinner, we could have had 27 glasses at the table. Luckily, our server took some empties away, we were getting some strange looks from the other diners. My dad said that was the best Father's Day, and he is a beer drinker!

But truth be told I prefer beer.

i love sauvignon blanc, current fave is jackson & triggs. i try to buy exclusively ontario wine. i admit to enjoy a chilean red... or glass of wolfblass though. i hate beer with a passion. when people recommend a beer, i ask "does it still taste like beer??". i like beer battered halibut and that's about it for beer. just poured my glass in preparation for survivor night!

We live about 90 minutes from Central CA Coast wine country and love to drive over and spend a day wine tasting. We belong to 7 different wine clubs so we get two shipments a year from each of them. There are so many great places close by it's hard not to buy a ton of wine - we probably have 300 bottles at our house at any given time (yet I drink the cheap stuff most nights - lol) My favorite is a Zin or Cab Franc. I'm not much of a white drinker but will from time to time. I'm SO jealous. That area is one of my favorite places on earth. When my DD was at UCSB we would head out to the wineries every time we visited. We would often stop at the farmer's market first and take cheeses, olives, crackers, etc., and have ourselves a wonderful time sitting on the patios of the wineries sharing a bottle or two. Ah, memories.... Lovely memories! The Central Coast is my home and I feel so blessed. I can see the vineyards fom my home office window as I work each day It seems like "everyone" here is into wine. You either work at a winery or know people who do (my MIL and several friends). Ironically, my favorite wines are Italian whites that I get from Trader Joe's, LOL. But I love all wine and never turn down a glass.

I drink almost exclusively Cabernet Sauvignons from California's Central Coast, right from your backyard!

I will admit to enjoying a nice glass of wine now and then. DH 's mission is finding good reds under $10. He has found some pretty good ones, too.

Love living in Niagara!

I don't know if he delivers up my way or not. But he does to my sister's house and she orders enough cases for her, my uncle and me. Nice having family that cares about you.
