DD is doing a major closet clean out and would like to sell some of her nicer things that she no longer wears (brands like Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein etc) that are still in good condition and are very classic styles.
Around here, places like Plato's closet seem to just want the El cheapo trendy barely last one season clothes, and only give pennies for them. Not sure how they are elsewhere.
So I have seen advertisements for ThredUp and it sounds good and I have scrolled through some of their clothes and saw things I would consider buying if I needed clothes.
Has anyone sold clothes through ThredUp? How was your experience? Was it worth the hassle?
Thanks!

I did. I got yard sale prices for my clothing (like under a buck for a pair of jeans), but they did give me a decent amount for a purse I sent. They offer you a different amount for auto payout or you can hold out hope that people will buy your stuff and then you make a little more.

For me it wasn’t worth the effort. Really, the amount they paid me for some NWT items was so paltry, I would rather just donate.

I would get like $20 for a huge bag of clothes which they take 2 months to process.

Rip-off. Better to take to a consignment store or donate.

Thanks for the replies. This is why I run things by the Peas, there is always someone who has BTDT and has first hand experience.

Thanks for posting this. I've ordered several items from there and was wondering about selling.

It was not worth selling on thredup.
I should have just paid someone the $2 to slap me in the face. Would have been quicker.
