I think I've only paid full price for like 3 of the million Copic markers that I have (Ok, in reality I have about 241). I just signed up for a Copic coloring class and found that there are a few of the colors that are used pretty frequently so I'd like to just order them instead of having to sub another color.
I have bought from Oozak in the past but is there a better (cheaper lol) place?

I think I've seen on other Copic threads that people buy them from scrapbookpal.com. I might be wrong, but I think they had them for a good price.
I've bought other things from them and they usually offer coupons for your next purchase and deliver pretty quickly.

Carpediemmarkers is my go to for Copics. I did order from the sale but their prices are usually the best.

You can get singles at Michael's in store and can use 60% off coupons on them. I did this but with one of the six color sets for my DD’s birthday. ETA: the coupon didn’t automatically work but since there were no restrictions on it for the markers they manually keyed in the discount.

I would also like to know what class you’re taking!! I’m new to copics and would love some good instruction. I keep trying but I’m really not very good. LOL.

I've been using the Joann's 60% off ones...they don't manually input it at the store I go to the most often (but they do at some of the others). They actually have a 'competitor's coupon' clipboard with 8-10 barcodes on it and when they scan the 60% off ones it works no problem. I've never actually tried using the ones from Michael's...probably because they're so infrequent and only show up to be used between 3 and close on Wednesdays so I rarely go. 3 is just before my kids get out of school during the school year and my husband works his 2nd job Wednesday nights, so in order to go I'd have to take all 3 of my kids and it's rarely worth it unless I REALLY want a few things and argue that they each get to use a coupon, too.

My Michaels has a very limited variety of Copics. They are also very overpriced so I prefer not to waste my time or gas buying them one by one.

I second Scrapbook Pal for prices and incredible service. I accidentally ordered 2 of the same Copic markers one time and they telephoned me to see if that was what I really wanted. They were even nice enough to substitute the next 2 markers on my wish list for the 2 I had ordered in error. I also saw the inquiry regarding a Copics class. Just as maybe some helpful information based on my personal experience, I can tell you that I have taken 2 of Sandy Allnock's many copic classes and highly recommend them. One is a lengthy all the "basics to intermediate" class which is what I started on and loved. I did burn out on color charts and stopped for a while, but once you get past them, it is fantastic: art-classes.com/product/copic-jumpstart/I also took the Underwater Scenes Mini Copic Course which is an intermediate level one and it was so much fun! My results were surprisingly good considering my talent level. art-classes.com/product/mini-copic-course-underwater-scenes/ I did take the Colored Pencil Jumpstart class even though I have been doing colored pencils as my primary coloring medium for years. I did learn a lot, but did find the many color/blending charts boring. I am now doing the Bible Journal class and do want to take either one of the Copic Florals or the Colored Pencil Rainy Day class next. Her classes are well worth the money, though she has raised her prices on new classes recently. She does have some free and $5.00 classes. She also has water color and drawing/sketching classes: art-classes.com/ I am not affiliated - just an admirer and happy customer.

I like Marker Pop, and their shipping is very fast. They’re in Orange County in SoCal. On weekdays you can go to their warehouse and shop. They also carry several brands of stamps and inks.

Sadly they don’t let you shop their warehouse anymore. Which is actually good for my wallet because they are down the street from my office and way too convenient to visit on my lunch break. You can order online and still go there and pick it up though.

You can get singles at Michael's in store and can use 60% off coupons on them. That's what I tend to do. I took photos of the numbers on the Copics that I currently have, so I can buy one with a coupon when I am running other errands near a Michaels. I rarely find anything else I want at M's anymore, so I may as well buy another Copic marker. I wouldn't make a special trip just to use my coupon to buy a single Copic marker, though. You might spend more on gas than you'd save.

There’s a great little app called My Markers, where you can keep track of all The Copics you own. I believe it’s free. It can be time consuming to enter in your info but helpful if you tend to buy dupes on accident (like me).

missymarlin I have a stupid question regarding Sandy’s classes. How would I get the digital downloads printed on copic friendly paper and ink? I’m really not a “digital world” person! LOL. I would love to try the class but this silly issue stops me in my tracks.

I would love to try the class but this silly issue stops me in my tracks. I'm not missymarlin, but I use my home printer and use Neenah 80# paper. It's best to use a laser printer if you're using alcohol markers as the inkjet ink may transfer into the marker area. If you're careful you can just not color on the lines, or not get the lines too wet, which is what I do. You can also take the file to FedEx/Kinko's or other print shop and they should be able to print it for you. Which is what I did for Sandy's beginning class. I took my own paper too, because I wanted to use the paper I would normally use.

I took my own paper too, because I wanted to use the paper I would normally use. I printed everything from Sandy's and Online Card Classes copic classes on Neena cardstock with my inkjet printer. I did make sure I let them set up for a few days before I colored and avoided the lines whenever possible and it worked great. I know laser printer is best, but I am lazy and want to color when I feel like it, so I have made due and haven't had smudging yet. ETA: I have bought most of my Copic collection at Carpe Diem online. I have filled in when I found good sales elsewhere, but they consistently had the best colors at the best prices when I was ready to add the next batch of colors. I have almost all of the colors at this point (missing about 25 that don't have enough variation to make them worth the purchase in my mind), but bought over the course of about 4 years.

I would love to try the class but this silly issue stops me in my tracks. I just manually feed my paper into my printer one sheet at a time. I use Paper Trey Basic White for both my Copics and colored pencil work. Why not try to print something like a free coloring page on what ever paper you normally use, let it dry (I use my heat gun to make sure it is set) and see how it goes? I hope it works for you, but if not come back and we will try to find something that will work for you. I am sure you would enjoy her classes!

Thanks for the info everyone. I just assumed my inkjet would not work with copics. I’ll give it a try and if not I’ll take my own paper to my staples store and try that. I’d really like to try these classes.

Check out DickBlick.com and Jerrysartarama.com . I've bought from both. Excellent customer service, low priced and shipping, and great prices. Good luck.
