I have been looking at the Torrids website for a while now but never have bought anything. I saw the one posting about the bikini and the bikini was from Torrids....Do you like shopping from Torrids online? Are there any certain things from there that you love?

I buy 90% of my clothes from Torrid. We have a store location here, but the sales are better online, so I mostly shop that way. Love the jeans, and Harper tops. They are also my favorite bras right now.

I do like their basic leggings - they aren't see through! I'm also large chested and their sports bras and very supportive. Other than that, I have sunglasses I bought there. Overall, I think they are decent quality but regular prices are overpriced in my opinion. I always wait for a sale.
UPDATE - I forgot about their 3 button jeggings - I have a pair of those that I love because they come up high enough!

I love their clothes. I went to the store, tried on some stuff to get an idea how their clothes fit me. Now I am confident to order online. They have way more selection online and lots of awesome sales. Last year for a birthday party I bought a cute dress, a military style wool coat and some ankle boots and spent just over $100. Great prices and cute clothes.

Love Torrid! Sales, coupons and Haute Cash are terrible enablers. I do probably 75% of my Torrid shopping online bc they are mostly consistent with sizing. As long as you dont use PayPal you can return anything to the store (PayPal gets you store credit I stead if a cash refund) so if you don't love something, it's convenient. I mostly wear their dresses and even though some things are edgier that I would choose (skulls and such), I find plenty to pick from. Almost everything I wear is from there.

I wear their jeans almost exclusively. Their premium leggings are great. They even sell really nice bras for bigger girls!
I'm kind of over most of their tops -many come in a baby doll style that just isn't flattering for me.

I buy from them a lot! I usually buy T shirts but have bought the occasional fancier shirt, jeans or skirt. I love that they have a lot of funny or geeky T shirts. I also usually shop online because they have a much wider selection there. Many of the items I like aren't carried in stores. I also have a Torrid store here locally, so if there's something I don't like, it's easy to return it to the store and there's no return shipping fee. Two PSAs about returns though: 1) If you pay with Paypal online and return in store, they'll refund your money on a Torrid gift card (they say they can't refund it to your credit/debit card, not sure why), and 2) the clearance items are usually final sale, so you can't return them even if they don't fit.
I also find the customer reviews to be extremely helpful. The site does not edit out critical reviews (I hate it when brands do that), so you get real feedback, plus I love it when customers upload pictures of themselves in the outfits. Usually the Torrid models are on the low end of plus size (size 14/16), but I'm a 20/22, so I like seeing how the clothes fit on a larger person so I can know if I'll like how the items fit me, not just that I like how the items fit the models.

I buy the majority of my clothes from Torrid...their jeans are by far the best I’ve ever worn. If you’re into leggings get the premium leggings because they last forever and aren’t see through. When it comes to a lot of their stuff the sizing could be off a bit..I always size down in jeans there. It gets pricey but sign up for their emails and you will get notified when they do their flash sales or 50% off random sales...that’s when you want to buy. I belong to a few Torrid feedback groups on FB which I highly suggest joining because lots of girls posts pics of outfits and you get a better idea from those feedback if it’s true to size or not...that’s helped me a lot when ordering online.

I have an in-law who buys most of her stuff there and loves it.
One of the kids has a friend who buys lots of her stuff there too. She actually had on a top from there earlier this week. It was super pretty.

I just saw the other thread and only got as far as the first post which had links to bathers- which I am always looking for! They look great- I'm guessing there will be a measurement guide on their site? I'm in Australia, so will investigate further. I'm looking for light cardigans too ( Modcloth seem to be phasing out my favourite cardigans.) Just posting so I can keep my spot! Corinne

Like Lego. No s. You have Torrid in the UK? How did they pass by my country? I don't know, it's not a company I'm familiar with. But if they did operate in the UK they might consider changing the name, torrid means difficult here as in, she is having a torrid time.

They are fun, they fit, and sales are pretty decent. I thought we were getting scammed again without a Torrid. My bad. For now I need larger sized clothes and all I have is AdditionElle and it’s ok. Good news is I lost 20 lbs so that’s in the right direction...but I like comfort and I am too old to not be comfortable.

In my experience, and I have ranged from size 8-24, plus size stores do so much better at designing clothing for plus size women. The stuff you try to buy at Kohl's, Penney's, Target just isn't cut for a plus size woman.

I am a 12-14 and I want comfort. If I don’t live until 85 so what? I have a good life. If I lose more then I do. If I don’t oh well. But I think the clothes at AE are just more comfortable.

There are a lot of things I have learned from the peas over the years. An S on the end of a store name? I don't care. Taking direction from someone who has been a pea for years and years and has never offered kindness, empathy, support, personal experience, vulnerability, compassion, wisdom, humor but instead is laser focused on grammar, spelling, correction of insignificant things? You're right, I don't find you have much to teach me. And I am 110% alright with you thinking that makes me ignorant. You have a good night.

I will have to see if there is one near me.
I am a 16 and LB does not fit right. Sonoma and the new line at Kohl's fits perfect. And the Apt 9 shirts/sweaters in XL fit great too.
LB shirts are baggy on me, even the smallest they carry

My personal experience with them has been hit and miss.
Fit and quality is inconsistent. I end up returning about half of everything I order. I don't shop in the brick and mortar store because the one near me mostly stocks items up to a 2X, with a handful of 3-4X available in-store. I'm a 4X so no point in shopping in person when there are maybe 6 items on the racks in my size.

Ok it’s late at night but I am pissed. There is a freaking Torrid store in Kelowna. I love Kelowna. I say I would live there but I would never give up Victoria. There are plus sized people here, too!!! I am not driving 7 hours to go to a Torrid store.
