Why does the other house have like three plain dining tables, is it a boarding house? Home schoolers? Looks like it should be much grander and there is a suspicious lack of photos besides the outside and the fireplace. What do you mean by suspicious? What do you suspect? I would imagine the room with the dining tables is a office/study/homework room. Some parts of it are pretty plain, I agree. I figured that room with the tables was an instant scrapbook/craft room!

Never happening, can't afford it and even if I could I don't want to be house-poor. I'm changing my plans to a trailer in the North Georgia woods and another one in Sedona Arizona or Santa Fe New Mexico. I really only care about being outdoors in those places anyway so that's my retirement plan!

The butler's pantry and the wine cellar sold it for me!

I want it for the pantry and the closets. And, to be your neighbor.

Huge house but no furniture. Don't those places echo??
I couldn't stand the mess in the walkin closets in the house in the OP. And wire hangers!!! If you can afford that kind of house, then you can buy bulk hangers on amazon.

It’s nice, but not as nice as this one that my aunt and uncle used to own! They sold it about ten years ago, and the new owners have added the fabulous kitchen extension. It’s a stunning house, and it’s in St. Andrews, with its world famous golf courses and university. It's still a fairly small town (population is only about 17,000) but it has fabulous shops, a plethora of great restaurants, and two lovely beaches. (Admittedly, it’s usually freezing! ) I would move there in a minute if I could afford it!

It’s beautiful, but honestly my favorite part is the butler’s pantry.

5800 square feet, but only 3 bedrooms? How odd.

The whole house looks dated to me and I would not want to be that isolated. Give me a water front home with a big deck and a dock and some neighbors

with all that land do they even have neighbors?? Well, sure. Everyone has neighbors. Sometimes they’re just a long way away.

If you can afford that kind of house, then you can buy bulk hangers on amazon. I noticed there was very little furniture. I think that’s what draws me to the house. I only like a few pieces per room.

Wow- in Donalds? I would've never thought that. That's like the size of the whole town!

That pantry!! 😮 House...Not my taste. Way too traditional and old ladyish? But I’d take it. I’m guessing if I had the dough to buy it, I’d have the dough to decorate it.
