Not my literal "neighbor" --- that's way out of our league. But we are in the area and can do regular lunch dates! Lol.

The house is more traditional than I prefer (but I LOVE the butler's pantry) but 650 acres WOW. I'd love that. I doubt there's a tract of land that size available in this section of the state, but I could buy that in southeastern Oregon for a song. As long as I didn't care about having utilities or water rights or anything that would make the land livable lol 122 acres available across the river for $3.5 million. No house. www.zillow.com/homedetails/19104-NE-83rd-St-Vancouver-WA-98682/23310760_zpid/

My neighbor's house is 7,000 sq. ft., and cost just over $1M. They are on an acre. I like my neighbor's house better BUT this one has 651.78 acres. Wow, I can't imagine. Now that would be heaven.

651 acres sells it for me. The house is just a plus. It’s beautiful!

I must be the only one in the world who wouldn't want that acreage. I like being in an area with neighbors I can see every day. I don't like to feel isolated.
I loved the butler's pantry and the his/hers closets!

Wow! It must be nice to have that kind of money! I wonder how people afford homes like that?

Sold!
I LOVE IT.
I am not a wall paper person , but if I can afford that place, I can easily get rid of the paper.

Truth told, I rarely like big grand expensive houses. I love smaller, more average type houses. But this is a really pretty house. Half the size and an eighth the price tag would do it for me. And maybe none of that pesky farm work.

I love the butler’s pantry. There is a lot of the decor I would have to change, but not the actual hard surfaces. The wallpaper and window treatments would have to go. I guess if I could afford the house that would be minor a expense.
All that land would be a huge money pit unless you are able to find a way to make it pay for its self. Let’s not forget paying for all the full time help to keep up the house and property. I would love to know the monthly expenses on the whole place. If you have to ask, you can’t afford it. LOL
It is the nicest place I’ve seen on here for a while.

I love some of the features (the pantry, the wine room) but honestly, it's so over the top I could never be comfortable there. That and I don't have $4m to spend. lol.

The style is not really my style but I sure would take it.. Those horse stalls/barns are to die for.. My 11 year old would die to have that!! She is so obsessed with horses...

How does it ONLY have 3 bedrooms?!?! Stunning. I particularly like that you’re not on top of your neighbor.

Too dated, I keep thinking what a major project it would be to get it where I like it in a house that big.
Why does the other house have like three plain dining tables, is it a boarding house? Home schoolers? Looks like it should be much grander and there is a suspicious lack of photos besides the outside and the fireplace.

I love Breach House gar. Gorgeous! Side note: Why don't more houses get names? I'd much rather name my house than my car. Lol.

I would imagine the room with the dining tables is a office/study/homework room. Some parts of it are pretty plain, I agree.

If I’m going to spend that much money I’d want to be by the ocean. The house looks dated, but I do love all that land.
