My DH wants to have his team over for a happy hour in about 2 weeks. My theme is "fall". We have an outdoor kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace. I am hoping we can have most of it outside ( weather permitting). I have the decor taken care of ( lots of candles and fall decor) but need suggestions for appetizers and some signature drinks.
I think dessert will be a s'mores bar. Besides the usual marshmallow, chocolate bars and graham crackers what else do you make them out of? Peanut butter cups? Rolos?
Some other things I am considering are tomato soup shooters served with a small triangle of grilled cheese, baked Brie ( how do you make yours?), a gorgeous cheese platter served on a slate board, maybe some slow cooker meatballs. What other "fall" weather appetizers do you recommend?
What about drinks? I have seen some fall sangria recipes and a recipe for an apple pie shooter which I need to try.
Any other suggestions? Recipes or links is appreciated!
