Discovery of Witches (the first in the trilogy) was made into a t.v. series this spring. I just found this On Demand, but it's not in HD?

Quite a few books I loved on this thread, including some on my own list.
A Gentleman in Moscow by Towles (I know I'm late to the party.) The Things We Cannot Say by Rimmer The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell by Dugoni Ask Again, Yes by Keane (Family drama at its finest.) Recursion by Crouch (Mind officially blown. This is sci-fi for those who don't even like sci-fi. I have no idea how Crouch outdid himself after Dark Matter. But seriously. This is even better.) The Last Year of the War by Meisner

It's playing on Shudder which you can find on Amazon Prime or by itself. I found it as an off shoot of Amazon Prime. It is it's own channel (Shudder) and costs around $5.00 to have every month. You could just join for a month to watch it and then cancel. I started watching Discovery of Witches last night and really like it. If you like Horror there are a ton of movies and a few series on this channel.

It's not the best acting, or special effects.

I’ve read quite a few books this year, but most of them have been 3 stars at best. One exception was Say Nothing a True Story Of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland by Patrick Raddon Keffe. it was exceptional.

A Dog Called Beautiful by Rob Kugler. This is a very descriptive book about the travels of a man and his dog. The dog had cancer and had to have one leg amputated. It's about unconditional love and the lessons learned.
