My scrappy friends and I were cracking up at our history (20 years of getting together) and some of the whacky things we did, and some we would never do again. One time we did a thing at a crop we called "Trading Faces" (remember back in the day, Trading Spaces? yeah, based on that show) where all participants put their basic page on the table with their pictures. So it was like two 12x12 pieces of CS and all of their embellies they brought with them were available, as well as tape runners, etc... each participant would go around the room to each "station" and a timer was set for two minutes. During that time the player work on the layout they were standing at for that time, then timer, and they would switch one place to the left and work there for two minutes. Like scrapbooking musical chairs! I got the worst LO when I got back! Some people came to me after and said they actually took things OFF my LO during their time. We vowed to never do that again....now I think it sounds kinda fun, but I take my scrapping much less seriously now that I can print photos at the drop of a hat! (Thank you Al Gore ) did you ever go to a crop with crazy games? We did normal page swaps too, this one just causes us so much laughing NOW...then it was so not funny.

Your Trading Faces game would have done me in. There are just certain things that I would hate on my layouts. It is a great idea for those less anal.
I don't like the games, I do like a raffle or a random prize, but games when I am scrapping just aren't my thing.

We’ve played that game before. We didn’t call it Trafing Faces though. I’m not sure we had a name. I always put in a second set of prints and did it for the fun, not expecting to get a layout back that I loved.

Sounds fun (cringe). I've not been to a lot of crops, and those that I have been to didn't have games. Thankfully. I'm there to create.
