I'm going to IKEA next week. Pray for me. Me, when I visit IKEA: Also me, every. single. time. I visit IKEA (or eek-'ey-UH as we pronounce it ):

Let the prepping videos begin...
Sharing a very simple one that showcases the underrated practical beauty that is the Citrus Twist album (vocal fry alert, however):

sleepingbooty I really like that video. That's not my process at all. I would not be able to plan the whole thing out. I work from the photos or an idea of what I want the page to look like. But it was helpful to see how fast you can really make a title page if you want to. And being honest about why you didn't finish and learning from that. I also need those snorkeling Santa glasses. My daughter is in a show before xmas and has rehearsal every Saturday except for ONE. So we'll go to Pittsburgh and IKEA on that day. Working on my calendar now. I think you'll be proud. Maybe I'll post to instagram...

I hope she has a lot of fun with it. In case there are Peas who don't have an IKEA nearby and need to figure out if it's worth the drive for the holiday goodies, here's a video of this year's Vinter products (apologies to anniefb): Working on my calendar now. I think you'll be proud. Maybe I'll post to instagram... Yay! Go you, working on your December prep. I hope you share your gram with us if you share it on Insta.

Here you go! It was really helpful to see when all of the events that I’ve been saving on Facebook actually are. http://instagram.com/p/B4IpISCAjhN Thanks for that challenge!

Love that you made yourself a box in the top corner with the other December activities you want to do but haven't got a date planned for yet, blemon. It really does help when you visualise the entire month, doesn't it? Kudos to you for jumping on the early prep bandwagon and thanks for sharing. I hope you get something warm to drink at the end of the Reindeer Run!

I posted a bunch of my foundations to my crafty insta, karinemakesstuff. Thanks to both mom and oaksong for encouraging me to lightly distress my papers, I really like how it adds to the patterns of the paper. For MDscrapaholic, here are the posts that have the Elizabeth Crafts dies: E Crafts 1E Crafts 2
I will be posting more of course when it's finally December! (If my tagging members doesn't work, I'm not sure why, it doesn't work sometimes no matter how hard I try!)

I was at Ikea last week but I didn't get to look at all the Christmas stuff. I saw the gnome with a grey hat. I will have to go back and look for the red hat. It is only 10 minutes from my house and my daughter likes to play around there.

I hope you get something warm to drink at the end of the Reindeer Run! Thanks! I'll have another list of ideas I want to use (and a small stack of favorite embellishments that just have to to go in there. And yes on the Reindeer Run! I just started running in January and have had a knee injury since August. I'm allowed to start running again so I have two xmas 5ks as my goal. The first is for Rosenbaum House -- it's where people whose loved ones are in the hospital or they are getting outpatient care like chemo and live too far away to drive. They can stay there for free. It's really amazing. In WV we have a huge rural population so having a place like this is literally a lifesaver. And the second is through this city park where they put up all of these lights. We drove through it last year and it was so much fun. Now I want to run through it. Fingers crossed! I posted a bunch of my foundations to my crafty insta, karinemakesstuff. My goals this weekend were to get both of sleepingbooty 's challenges done + finish Sept PL and Oct OLW. Making a List - made a list and then realized I am not sure when the kids will be home from college, when certain parties were and when my son has his wisdom teeth out. LOL So I have sent emails to the kids, asking for dates. So all thats *for sure* on my list is my 40th birthday (thats all that matters, right?!). So I have started this challenge, but I need some assistance from my family. Narrowing it down - I am DD-shopping done. Im sick of analyzing all the things. I have everything I am going to use, except for my FJ order. Probably another two more weeks waiting on that. Sept PL - completely done. Oct OLW - completely done.

I was just sorting through some digitals I have and went and looked at Ali's offerings this year. She really missed a chance by not having any digital templates, transparency's for those who are doing 4x6. Sure, you can resize them the 6x8 ones but some won't want to deal with that (which I completely get). Just seems like the 4x6 album wasn't given much thought.
edited: ok, she has a few. But not near what the other sizes have. I still think the 4x6 size was an afterthought.

I'm trying to remind myself that that's not my process and I'm not even sure that I'll do more than journal this year, but watching this I'm actually wanting this album and kit. The papers are beautiful. There are several that I really really love. And I love that album size. Hopefully I'll remember to look back at this person's album when she's done. I'm curious how it will turn out. Thanks for sharing

Hello ladies! I'm completely new here, but have been in and out of the forums for years just trying to up. Anyways, I received my AE order a while ago and refused to open it until I finished my 2018 December Daily album. Well, that day was today and after tearing into the box I discovered the album was defective. The top metal D-Ring is completely broken off of the album. I just started a conversation over there, but I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem? I bought the red 6x8 album. This is the first time this has ever happened with one of my orders from her site.

I know that Ali has been refunding people the cost of their album because there are no backstock this year. You can try and fix it yourself - but its not a guarantee that it will last forever. E6000 glue works well - just put a little on the album & on the metal piece. Make sure you let it dry a long time before moving it. Good luck on getting your album fixed or replaced!

Thank you so much for the help! I had no idea the albums were such a problem. I also ordered another album in this order from last year's release that was perfectly fine. Totally bummed to hear they're not replacing broken albums when they're still available in the shop. If I get refunded I will definitely try to fix it myself. I'm sure I won't hear anything from them for a couple of days.
