The September Donna Challenge is about learning. Donna was a teacher, and September was all about back to school. This month your challenge is to do a school layout. If you don't have any school photos, you can do a layout about something you or someone else learned or wants to learn.
Please post your layouts here as well as on the layouts sharing thread so others can find inspiration on this month's theme. 5 points for meeting this challenge.

I'm 2 days early on this (so I'll probably do more school layouts IN September) but here's one for now.

I can't get my photo to upload. It's in Sketchtember for the 5th. It's a photo of my Nursing School Graduating Class with tons of journaling. Wanted to at least mention it here. We miss you, Donna!

Did you figure it out? Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. I am popping in when I get some down time, but am not following all the threads as closely as usual. If you are still having trouble, PM me and I will try to help you work it out.

My daughter has had friends who were vegetarian and last year she started go to the "Veg-head" club at her high school. At eh club, the teacher who sponsored brought a vegetarian dish each meeting and then they talked about how to eat as a healthy vegetarian and the exchanged recipes and were so supportive of her learning about vegetarianism. By the summer she was ready to try it and has felt good eating that way. I am learned a lot about how to cook for her and make sure she is getting everything she needs. So, since the club was at school and there was a lot of learning, I thought it fit well in this challenge.

Loving all your school LO’s Linda. WTG getting caught up! lynnek, that page is gorgeous! Love all those multilayered circles! Love how you used the school stickers to tie the grid blocks together, ABCreations. And great take on the challenge! I have 11 pages to link here from the Gallery, but my iPad is being difficult right now so I am going to wait until I get home to my desk computer.

That Geneva Giant page is adorable, nylene. As is the recipient of the award! Sorry to flood this thread, but I had trouble linking my back to school pages from my ipad and now have my desktop at my disposal so will link the pages I did while at my ds's this month. Got pic's from three of the four families/9 of the dgk's who are still in school. Still need to do pages for the two older girls and for dd's grade oner near Edmonton. Was hoping to get them all done this month (and not only feel like I was "caught up" but also cash in on all these bonus points LOL) but not sure time and opportunity will present itself before next Monday. Here are 4 layouts I did about 2 weeks ago for my son's back to school. He is a special education teacher. Love your Back to School pages! So cool that you can use the same papers and other elements for a teacher as for a student! Love that you included the school logo as well. I have (sadly) no teachers yet among my kids and grandkids (although my dgd in grade 8 still says she wants to be a teacher like me--and has since she was 3 or 4 years old!). I really should do a page about my dd who is working on her PhD studies, but she is doing the research portion at home in the evenings right now so not a lot to photograph LOL. She is presenting at a conference next week, so maybe I will see if she can get someone to photograph her there...

Wow, this is inspiring stuff in here. ABCreations , I love the grid and how you've captured yourself on this experience. We don't do that enough. linda , you have captured great pictures of that gr. 5 grad - you must have been moving around and positioning yourself to get the shots and now he has these great photos to remember it by! lynnek , your layout is so gorgeous (love that Jillibean line) and detailed I can look at it for ages. nylene - adore what you've done with the paper layers/colours, and yes, that photo is too cute! grammadee - love the dimensional colourful embellies/borders you chose on your layouts from the arrow heads on 3 of the pages to the nuvo drops on "first day of school" and the fuzzy silver stuff on "Brooke". It adds flair to all of them. Special shout out to your title work on "preschool", looks awesome! "4, 8, 12" - what a great way to record the years, and what great photos of those 3 girls! Altho the silly photo on "Brooke" gave me the best smile! myboysnme - did your son send you those photos? Wow, I hope I have mine trained that well!

did your son send you those photos? Wow, I hope I have mine trained that well! He sent me about half of them. I took the others when I visited his classroom. Since then he has sent several more and I scrap them in school teacher albums for him. I have done 3 so far!
