Vince Gill is my favorite concert to attend. I've seen him 10+ times and it is always entertaining.
We saw Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band last week and that was very good. While Ringo has never had the strongest voice, it has held up well.

I had a double concert weekend a couple of weeks ago. Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits for all you young'uns) on Friday night at the casino in eastern CT, where we had 2nd row center tickets that must have been purchased for me by a fairy, because I don’t remember buying such great seats. At the encore, I got to go to press up against the stage and witness his excellent guitar work up close, and got some great video. I had seen Mark Knopfler as a support act to Dylan a few years ago, but this was SO much better. I think 8 band members who Mark said played 43 different instruments between them!
We spent the night and then drove to Forest Hills stadium in Queens on Saturday (awesome venue!) where we saw Beck, Cage the Elephant, and Spoon. The really weird thing that happened was that when the occupants of the two seats to the right of me appeared, it was the husband and son of one of my best friends who live 2 minutes away from us.

Saw Ed Sheeran at Wembley, his special guest was Stormzy. Had a good time.
Took my dd to a concert that had a wide selection of singers/bands, all playing a couple of songs each. It was run by a big radio station and it was the perfect first concert for her and as we heard the songs for weeks beforehand being played on the radio station, I was word perfect for the event!
After that we went to a couple of small music venues in different cities. Funnily, both gigs were American artists playing in the UK for the first time. Even though theses were my dds choice I enjoyed them too.(apart from the lack of seats -I'm getting older, I own it!) - My point being don't overlook small venues for a good live music event, less expensive too. You can hear new artists before they make the big time.

I saw Elton John and Billy Joel this summer. I have seen Elton John more times than I can remember to be honest 🙂 My favourite one of his was a small open air show he did at a venue beside the Thames...we were all in Black tie regalia and it felt that he was so close I could have reached out and shaken his hand 💙 This summer’s one was part of his farewell tour at an open air cricket ground on the south coast of England and again was a fantastic evening 🙂 Billy J was brilliant too - I couldn’t believe how all the words came back to me, even songs i’d barely heard in the last 20 or 30 years!

Luke is fun in concert!! I actually like small casino and fair concerts now 🙂 I have been going to the Oregon Jamboree for 14 yrs and my seats are anywhere from front row to 7th row. I’ve gotten used to seeing the acts close so now I enjoy seeing them in the smaller settings. Keith Urban and Jason Aldean were both very good. As was Carrie Underwood and Darius Rucker. Locash was not a headliner but they were a surprisedly great act. Another fan favorite is Neal McCoy Terri Clark was a favorite from this year.

I've seen George Strait probably 20 times. Loved every one of them! Saw P!nk last March in Denver... awesome show. Brad Paisley, Reba, Brooks & Dunn, Little Big Town... they all put on good shows too. Just saw Garth in May in Minneapolis... that was a great show too. Surprise opening act was Darius Rucker.

I just saw One Republic with the Denver Symphony on Monday night and it was incredible. I have seen OR at 6 times but this show was amazing. Two weeks ago my daughter and I saw the BAckstreet Boys - it was her first ever concert when she was 4 haha. We have Old Dominion9 been counting down since last November and can't believe it is almost here) next followed by Carrie Underwood and Florida Georgia Line in the same week. I I prefer there more spread out but sometimes it doesn't work that way.
Good for you on your concert! Definitely see more. I love all the names thrown out there. I did not see Kenny CHesney but he sure is fun and Dierks Bentley is always entertaining. I saw Shania Twain and though I am not a fan, she does a good show. I LOVE live music. If you pick some up and comers the shows are generally far cheaper and the newer artists really want to please their new found fans. Adam Doleac is gaining momentum. Chris Janson has escalated so quickly and question why he doesn't headline more. So much music to enjoy.

Oooooo... going to see him in September! I can't wait - it sounds just great! I hadn't been to a major stadium concert since the U2 Zoo TV tour in the early 90's, and then in the past couple of years we've started to go to a few. Coldplay was freaking unbelievable. It was the best concert experience overall. Also saw Imagine Dragons and Twenty-one Pilots, and both were great. I've seen some smaller shows as well. My DH surprised me recently with REO Speedwagon at a local casino. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but they were seriously good. Not just 'good for a bunch of old dudes who have seen better days' but legitimately good. They played all their hits and everyone sang along and it was a big 'ol 80s love fest! I'm surprising him with an OK Go concert in a couple of months. They're going to be playing along with their videos which will be projected behind them. If you aren't familiar with their videos, go to YouTube and check them out. They're incredible!

We have a concert venue at work but I didn’t go to any this year. We’re the perfect size that we catch them on the way up: Chris Stapleton the year he blew out the grammy’s, Eric Church before he moved to arenas; or on the way down or after the arenas aren’t filled, Blink 182, Chicago, Ringo Starr. Beck was a surprise hit for me. I only knew his one song, but he’s s true entertainer and put on a fabulous show.

We saw Paul McCartney early this summer. He was amazing - just as good as he was when I saw him way back in the early 70's (yep, according to my drivers license I am that old, but I don't really believe it). DH said it was the best concert he's ever seen.

My favorite concert ever was Paul McCartney. Rob Thomas and Rick Springfield are my next favorite. I love Alan Jackson and Martina McBride too, her regular concerts and her Christmas shows are fabulous. I hope to someday soon see Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, Eric Church, Gary Allan and Rod Stewart.

My coworker/friend and I went to Lake Charles to see Seether last month. BFF and I went to see The Tubes last Friday (my friend Laura was also singing with the opener - Radio Duran, a Duran Duran tribute band). This coming Tuesday DD and I are going to see Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. Talk about diverse music.

I always see my favorite band in concert when they come to the USA (they are British) Marillion and they come every 2-3 years. I think I've seen them about 8-9 times so far. They usually play at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC.
I always see Tori Amos when she tours although I have missed a couple of her shows through the years. I think I've seen her about 8-9 times too through the years.
And I always see my favorite classical composer and pianist when he comes to the DC area too-he's Italian and his name is Ludovico Einaudi. I think I've seen him 5 times.
These three performers are my absolute favorites and I try to never miss them.
I've loved Elton John since his was the first album I bought when I was 15, but somehow I never got a chance to see him in concert through the years, although I used to go to a bunch of concerts when I was younger. When he announced his farewell tour I made sure to get a ticket. I went to see him in DC and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. He was truly amazing! I don't know how he has the energy at this age and his voice sounded almost exactly the same as it did when the was younger. He had the whole audience up and dancing and it was such a mixed audience-there were grandmothers aged in their 70's and 80's, youngsters in their 20's and me at 58 up and dancing away. The couple next to me were in their 20's and after the show when I asked them how they'd heard his music they answered they'd listened to their Mom's CD's.
Concerts are a part of my life that I'm not ready to give up at the age of 58. I love music! Most often I go alone (my DH doesn't care for music) or if my sister is feeling well enough she'll go with me. At the last Marillion show this woman my age was there with her husband. She asked me if I was there alone and I said I was. She looked so surprised and asked me if I felt funny coming alone. I told her "Of course not, why should I?" In a way it allows me to focus more fully on the music and I make friends that night with all of the other fans there.

I go to a lot of shows, the highlight this year has been Blondie and Elvis Costello. Blondie supported Elvis and both were fantastic! I hope to see each artist again some day, it was my first time seeing either one and since it was an outdoor venue, the seat I could afford was far away and I much prefer being in the action. But I'll take what I can get.
Next week I'll be seeing Shellshag and Lung when that tour comes to my city, and in a few weeks I'll be seeing Kimya Dawson. I've also got Peter Hook, Hollerado, and The Bouncing Souls lined up but I imagine more shows will likely pop up. My most recent show was Single Mothers and Off With Their Heads, an odd mix but I love both bands so I had a great time. Artists I try to see every time they come around are Skinny Lister, AJJ (though I'll be missing their next one, unfortunately), Hollerado, the Bouncing Souls, and Larry and His Flask. Hollerado are sadly breaking up after this year, but I'm taking a couple of vacation days and flying out for their final show! The Damned are amazing live as well.... I could go on for a long time.

went last night to see Hootie & the Blowfish with the Barenaked Ladies. I was there to see the Ladies the most, especially with the hometown crowd. I've seen them 4 or 5 times and they are always so fun & put on a great show. I didn't know as many Hootie songs but very enjoyable. And yes Darius is just as hot in person - BUT he mumbles his words sometimes which I find annoying!! Enunciate!!!!
Going on Tuesday to see Foreigner
About 25 years ago I saw Elton John & Billy Joel on their Piano Man tour - still one of my favourite concerts! Another one was Queen with Adam Lambert, so amazing!! And I try to see Alan Doyle (from Great Big Sea) everytime he performs nearby us.

I’m over 50 (barely😜) and I go all the time. This summer I’ve seen Train and Goo Goo Dolls (I see Train every year-always great!), Daughtry, Barenaked Ladies and Hootie ( I can listen to Darius Rucker sing anything-that voice!!! And BNL was just so much fun-would definitely go again), American Authors and OAR (love this band and the guitarist handed my son the pick after a solo so he will be a fan for life). And finishing up with Andy Grammer next week and Matt Nathanson in October (he’s my fave!). And I’m typing from my phone so can’t scroll back-but whoever saw One Republic with the symphony at Red Rock I’m extremely jealous. I saw a concert last summer at Red Rocks and it is the intimate venue. Ryan Tedder is so talented-I’m sure it was amazing.

I think it was spring time when I saw Cher in concert.
I highly recommend both!

It’s funny you say that about George. He has an amazing voice but the ongoing joke about him in my circles is that if you want to see him in concert just put up one of those cardboard cuttouts and play his music. I was super disappointed in his lack of interaction with the crowd. But man his pipes sounded good. Jealous of pink! I’ve seen her, also amazing pipes, but I haven’t seen her since she changed to her aerial act. Hootie! Dierks and Kenny are amazing with the crowd. Have seen Tears for Fears half a dozen times maybe and find it funny that Roland still does the same banana schtick he did in 1985. Mom and I just traveled to Oklahoma to see Air Supply, fun! This coming year I’d really like to see Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, and others I can’t think of off the top of my head. Had tickets to Luke this past fall but had a dental emergency that messed everything up. First time we had tickets DH was on crutches and we weren’t doing the arena stairs like that.
