Yes because grapes are so expensive here.

Go in to container with the rest as I wash them all. I watched a woman one day pull all the grapes off the stems into her bag, she was not sorting them as to be rid of bad ones. Just no stems.

I’m pretty anal about washing my grapes, so I actually usually pull all of them off the stems as I wash them and then put them in a clean container. I will keep any firm grapes, whether or not they were on the stem. Don't the holes where it was attached to the stem get browner faster? I feel they do, so I don't pull them off until I am ready to eat, then I wash.

I eat them, unless they are too brown around where the stem was.
Sometimes I will freeze the loose grapes. I also freeze grapes still on the stem. I love frozen grapes in summer!

But I sometimes do what you described if I have a lot of grapes.

It wouldn’t occur to me not to unless they were obviously withered or bad in some way. A grape’s a grape isn’t it?
