No time to scrap? Well take some photos and save some memories.
If you are a member of a September team, you can claim a point for every photo you take and share on this thread. If you scrap that photo in September, you earn an additional 2 points.
Bonus points for September: This is the month of the equinox. Earn 2 additional points for any photo that depicts TWO of something, a mirror image or reflection, or shows symmetry in some way.

It was a glorious day for the 3rd day of spring - it got to 21 C (70 F),which is the first time it's been in the 20s since about May I guess. I was working from home so I got to take the dogs for a walk during my lunch break. I'm going for the extra points with this one - two happy puppies. Tuesday 3rd September.  It was Father's Day here on Sunday, but I was so busy cooking and cleaning, that I didn't get any photos, either of my dad, or DSO and DS. So today when I got to my dad's house (I park at his house every day because he lives opposite the train station), he was out in the garden and I took the opportunity to take a selfie of us. Wednesday 4th September.  |

I used to take so many photos. Now, my kids are older and don't love my photo taking so much. But I am on this! I need to up my photo taking!

About 25 years ago when our home was new a friend gave me various flowers and plants. These red flowers come up every fall, but this year there were many more than I recall in past years. Knowing we were going to have a huge hurricane related rainfall today that might destroy the flowers, I sat DGD in front of them for a photo. I must say her outfit was not on my list of choices for this little improptu photo shoot, but I captured a Sept photo of her with the red flowers. IF they make it through the storm I will try again next week for some better shots.  |

  My daughter is on the Poms team and they had their first home football game and performance last night. This first week is a boy/girl dance with senior boys matched to each girl. I need to make a better plan to bring my good camera and get better close up photos this year. |

Boris - before and after his haircut. Tuesday 3rd September.  It's spring! This is a photo of a wattle tree down by the lake near my house. Thursday 5th September. And another photo of Milly to send to MIL and FIL so they know she's having a nice time without them. Thursday 5th September. The Lads. DS had three mates stay over on Friday night. Just because. As they were heading off on Saturday, I asked DS if I could take photo of them all. He said "No." One of his mates said "Yes." Then they all raced off to get hats and sunnies. 5 minutes later, after they'd left, DS texted me to ask me to send him the photos. So much for not wanting me to take it! Saturday 7th September. DSO and I went to a friend's house for a dinner party. Saturday 7th September.  |

Saturday we went to a soccer game for our professional team in town. The sunset was so pretty, until it started with lightening and they evacuated the metal stadium.  Once out of the soccer stadium, we went over to the minor league baseball stadium next door and went in that game which had not been stopped because of lightening.  We went to the game with my brother and sister in law plus all our kids, however, the kids ran off with friends as soon as possible.  So, I just have pictures of my brother (Lovely with the foam finger in the nose. Such a boy!), sisten in law and husband.   And then yesterday, my youngest's baseball team had a double header.  |

Dgd had her first day of preschool this week. I happened to be home and got a picture which she wanted to hold so I printed it and then took a picture of her holding her picture!   |

Yesterday my 14 year old dgd pulled out a scrapbook she made with me when she was 5 years old. We found this photo  She and her sisters agreed to pose for a retake yesterday evening. They even tried to mimic the facial expressions!  |

 First day of school homeschool style. The kids don’t get out of pjs and don’t start the day until afternoon. 😂  Talk about making faces at people. DD did this then her dad came in and did the same thing. 🤦♀️ she is her daddy’s daughter   My BFF came to visit and had never seen Lake Michigan, so a trip lakeside was in order. But how cool was these steps. The last time we were at this beach the stairs weren’t painted like this.  We’re at the farm. I think our beagle might have been citified. |

grammadee - Lovts of great pictures! I love the Back 2 School photos. I just love to see what the kid chose to wear and how"excited" they are for the pictures. I love the one with the chalkboard! And your cute dogs playing - love that they play tug together. The photo redo is so fun!! I love it! And the baking - my kids are all about decorating too! AussieMeg - I love the doggie haircut before and after. So sweet! And your spring photos are so cool to see since we are not in that season. Your DS and his friend! Love that! My daughter is 15 and has to be in the right mood to let me take pictures. Glad his friends were on board! And, man, that dinner looks good! What a fun night of food and friends! LisaDV - Love that your got your version of Back 2 School even if it was in pj's and afternoon. And that pizza is awesome! Your pictures of Lake Michigan are so amazing! I have never been there. Someday!! justjac - That die storage looks awesome! I do hope you will share a picture when it is done! myboysnme - Glad you did take two with the red flowers! Beautiful flowers and darling baby! @meelleek - I have seen the photos of a child holding pictures of themselves on the first day of school through the years! I just never really thought about starting that. So fun!!

 My daughter and her poms team doing a kick line after a touchdown.  The tradition at my daughter's high school is that after the football game ends, the football team comes and sings the school song to the cheerleaders, poms and student section.  My 11 year old son has wanted to pitch for quite a while, on Saturday her got his first opportunity. He did great!  We are big baseball fans and have season tickets to the Colorado Rockies. Yesterday, my son and his friend enjoyed the game and even got a souvenir of each of their favorite players.  We had extra ticket to yesterday's baseball game so we let my daughter invite several friends to the game. The tickets were in a different section so they thought it was so fun to hang out on their own.  |

myboysnme - That looks so nice! What a nice place to spend time with your mom!  My daughter and a friend watching the bonfire get going at the homecoming bonfire last night.  The big bonfire  My daughter as she left for the day this morning. First time wearing her letter jacket. Also, dressed and ready for her poms performance at the assembly and she is part of student council that will do a homecoming skit at the assembly.

Homecoming weekend last weekend so I have a lot of photos. I won't make you see them all. LOL!  Poms Performance - my daughter is second in line.  End of the poms performance. It is funny when they do the DS at the end, the crowd is always wowed.  Daughter on left with bestie (bonus points for duo in the photo)  Daughter on right with other bestie (bonus point for duo in the photo)  All three girls that went as a group to Homecoming  Daughter being silly at the photo shoot.
