this is a set up thread for a challenge I will be posting in the Team Challenges thread.
1. pick one. Choose one type of embellishment you want to use a lot of this month. List it in your reply to this post.
2. Use it. Set a goal to use this product on as many projects as possible in September.
3. Count it. If you are a member of a team, claim one point for every time you use that product this month.

I am choosing metal objects. So every time I use a Brad or eyelet or other metal piece on a page or card I will count one point. (So 5 brads and 2 bottle caps = 7 cool points!

Oh, making us *pick*, that's just mean! Can I choose INK? I need to use my inks more... I can stamp, or use stencils with it? Or edge (which I haven't done in a while) or watercolour? Is that OK by you grammadee? |

Is that OK by you grammadee ? Sure! Not sure how you will count your points, but thinking, okay two stamps plus inked outside edges plus two inked mats = 5 points? And I am NOT mean!!! I have trouble choosing too, so I am forcing myself to pick one of the huge bins of things I have and actually put it to work! |

I just reorganized my stamp sets and found so many great sets that I have not been using. So I will choose stamp sets.

Such a fun challenge (and self-torture  ), grammadee! I'm going to pick die-cuts featuring words. I have loads of them in my digital supplies and I need to use them more often. I tend to gravitate to wards die-cuts with icons or images too quickly. |

There are lots I can use and it is typically something I skip because I am not great at coming up with something cute, fun, insightful, or meaningful! It's usually obvious titles like Christmas Eve, Soccer Game.... |

I’m mostly working on travelers notebooks, so I’ll pick Washi tape.
Maybe the next step is stamps. I don’t usually stamp on my scrapbook pages, and with this being Sketchtember, I’m going with Washi.
I just got a new Washi tape holder with three drawers that holds all my tape and sits on top of my table.
With it right there—I have to use it, right??

Just photographed a couple of pages I put together this morning and realized I didn't manage to get any metal on either one. I think I need to pull out one of my tubs of metal bits to keep it right in front of my nose  . Surprisingly, these are one of the few categories I take out of the drawer, use, then put the case back in the drawer right away. |

I am going to choose PL type cards - either individual or from cut apart sheets. I have them in a side drawer and rarely think to pull them out. Maybe if I pull them out and keep them on the table, I'll use some of them.
