My nephews started when they were 7-8. They have tons of sleepovers. The oldest is 16 and he still has friends over almost weekly. The kids come to my sister's house more than they go to other houses. I think that is because my sister has a high tolerance for sleepovers.
I absolutely loved slumber parties when I was a kid.

You are her mom and no matter what your DD or anyone says, you shouldn’t allow something you are not comfortable with.

My son has been having sleepovers with good friends since he was about 8. Ten seems plenty old to me. Same.

My kids all started having sleepovers somewhere between PreK and 1st grade. Of course they were only with other families that we were friends with and knew well. The same well known kids stayed at our house too.

Started with friends at 7. We had a big one that year for a birthday party. Family sleepovers from 3 yrs. The peak was when she was 10, and then they started to not be the in thing anymore.

I think it is funny when the kids (ages 18 and 15) have sleep overs. They take their playstation or xbox and their TV. When kids come here, they do the same.
I used to take a couple of My Little Ponies with me...Times have changed

They’d just pack up a bunch of games and play until they pass out. No alcohol or anything, just innocent Mario cart or magic the gathering competitions lol. My rule for family is age 5-6 and close friends 7-8. I’d rather host myself though.
