I have trouble visualizing colors, mixing patterns and getting embellishments on layouts. So – my sketches for Sketchtember will not be actual sketches but color examples. I hope this helps those of you who have the same issue.
I love this example. I can see it done multiple subjects. Also with a bit of moving things about I can see the left side as a one pager.
Twist – 5 points – Use this example as a guide but change it up with primary colors and NO flowers.
And this is what I did with the example as a guide.

Love the two page sketch, gramma. And primary colour with no flowers will be perfect fo scrapping my gaggle of grandsons! But I can’t get to this today—on the road soon as I am packed. Will leave love in the Gallery. |

 Here’s my take. I went as primary as possible with my colors. The border strip looks far creamier in the pictures than in real life. |

KelleeM your paper choices work so well with this design and your photos. Love the summery icons in your clusters, and the wavy border.

Thanks for the sketch gramma , it's right up my alley! I have started working on it, now I just need to select the photos and papers. LisaDV , ABCreations and any other Digi scrappers, I have made a template from the sketch if you want to use it. I haven't added drop shadows, you'll have to do that yourself!  You will need to delete the top layer. Here is the link: Sketchtember 6 (Let me know if it doesn't work.) |

Here is my take on the sketch. I forgot about the twist until I'd almost finished, then it was too late to change papers and photos. I used papers and elements from the 'You Are Awesome' kit by Just Because Studio, and 'We Are The Dreamers' by Aprilisa.
