I still get the daily morning newspaper. The evening edition went out of business a few years ago.
I get Pioneer Woman, Magnolia Journal (a gift from my DH), Prevention (another gift) and Eating Well (I think I get that because another another gift magazine I was receiving went out of business). DH get Professional Photography magazine. Oh and we get AARP, too.
I mainly take them in the car with me to read while waiting to pick up my grandson after school (which I do every school day). It impossible to use the internet on my phone because the high school across the road gets out and the cell tower gets slammed with all of the kids jumping on the internet as soon as school gets out. I need to charge up my Kindle and remember to take it with me.
I often will leave magazines I’ve read in doctor’s offices (yes, I ask first). They are more than happy to have additional reading material for their patients.

Someone sends me magazine subscriptions for Christmas, so yes, I still get a few, but no newspapers.

no newspapers - I would subscribe to the local paper if they offered a Sunday only option but they don't so I buy it at the grocery store on Sundays.
I do have one magazine subscription (it was a gift) to Diabetic Living - I read it, grab any recipes that look appealing, and pass it along

We stopped getting the newspaper because we are out of town a lot and it's a pain to stop the delivery each time. Leaving it in the driveway lets people know you're not home. I'd be glad to take in the paper for a neighbor, but the people around us are all busy and not especially neighborly, so I don't feel like I can ask them.
I still get quite a few magazines, but have a hard time getting them all read, which disturbs me. I have lots more free time than I did when I was younger and managed to read them all then. What has changed? I feel like my attention span is shorter. I spend more time on the internet, looking at sites like this, (guilty!) which leaves less time for actual reading. I guess I should try a personal internet blackout and see if I read more. I miss spending a pleasant hour, sitting back with a glass of tea and a new magazine.
Thinking about the ads in magazines, which a few people said they are bothered by, I kind of like magazine ads. You can sit and ponder them, or ignore them. I despise flashing, jerking, jumping internet ads. I almost never use YouTube any more because of the ads at the beginning and sometimes halfway through. I know it's a free service, blah, blah, but it's so disruptive that it's not worth it. I have to cover some of the ads up to be able to get through stories on The Washington Post website, which I'm already paying for. Even then, it's hard to follow the page as the print moves and readjusts to the changing ads.

I haven't had any newspaper magazine subscriptions for about 20+ years.
My local libraries have magazines that can be read for free in person or online via the library website.
My current landlord who owns the house(I live in the studio apt on the property) receives a daily paper, and she doesn't use coupons so she always leaves them for me. As well as the weekly grocery store sale ads.

I subscribe to Seattle Met magazine. I enjoy reading it and it's great resource for what's new and/or going on in town. I prefer it in print, I save articles and have them filed by local travel, food and wine, and shopping. My houseguests always enjoy having it on hand as well.
I've given up all other magazine subscriptions and the newspaper. Back 15-ish years ago I probably subscribed to the daily newspaper and 7-10 magazines, the higher number when I was "all in" with scrapbooking and subscribed to probably 3-4 magazines just about that hobby alone. Add a photography magazine or two, a couple of women's magazines, design, and gardening and voila...lots of paper in my house back then.

I subscribe to the New Yorker and Smithosonian and just randomly started receiving Runner's World (hahaha). I leave that in the breakroom at work. My husband subscribes to the local paper in both digital and paper form.

We still subscribe to two magazines. No papers. I'd love to get the weekend paper only, but their subscriptions are not set up that way.
ETA: I forgot I recently started subscribing digitally to The New Yorker. I enjoy reading that during work breaks, but I don't know that I would read it at home, so it's nice to have one digital subscription and two paper subscriptions for things we do read at home.

I forgot one: we randomly receive an issue of a camping magazine a few times a year. We have never owned a camper, looked into buying a camper or even gone camping.
We think it may be a hold over from when DH had his late parents mail forwarded to us eons ago. It should be noted that his parents have been dead 10+ years.
Sigh. The gift that just keeps giving. Very annoying.

The only magazine I still subscribe to is Sunset and I'll continue to get it as I love the mix of local travel/neighborhoods to explore, food, home decor and gardening.
I was a daily newspaper reader for decades and when our local paper folded I resisted getting the bigger city paper. DH missed the Sunday edition, so we now have a Thurs/Sun delivery deal. Thursday has all the coverage for upcoming weekend events. I do subscribe to a few online newspapers.
When traveling I always pick up The New Yorker and Vanity Fair. Both are full of interesting articles and great writing.
I catch up on People and similar magazines when I get a pedicure.

I get the AARP mag w/my membership, Readers Digest, and subscribe a few times a year to the New Yorker when they run their 3-month $6 special. No newspaper, though I was daily paper reader for years and years. Since the internet (yeah I remember when it wasn't even thought of!) I do most of my news reading online and via this board.

Yes - local daily newspaper. Although the family that owned it sold a while back it is still worth subscribing to. I am surprised it's still a daily, and won't be surprised when that is cut back. The content is shrinking and much is old news by the time it is read. It still has great photographs and articles for local activities, news and sports and editorial content. Local advertising is noticeably less so only a matter of time. They recently revamped their events calendar section to come out on thursdays. It's a comprehensive list of things for the weekend and upcoming. That makes it worthwhile as well.
We also have a great arts and entertainment weekly that is free. Ads for dispensaries are keeping that one going!
I love magazines and get several. I considered going digital but would want a way to print things I want to save. For many reasons I like having paper copies of things to save for reference (break from looking at a screen, tactile, I am old and that is what my brain is used to, etc). I could not figure out an easy way if at all to do this.
Magazines I get (and ongoing subs are not expensive compared to store - airport is even higher): Marie Claire House Beautiful Martha Stewart Better Homes & Gardens What Dr's Don't Tell You (I get paper & digital because you can access archives)
Sometimes I pick up at costco HGTV ,Cooks Illustrated Quit subbing to Cooks because after a few years it's redundant - and I can always get the same info/recipes watching the show Cloth Paper Scissors was another I would pick up or have subbed to but I guess it quietly went away this year. I treat myself when traveling to an In Style or WIRED if it looks interesting

I can't even keep track of my magazine subscriptions,LOL. Whenever I see a deal where it's $5 a year, or even less (I have several that are $2 a year), I can't resist. As soon as the year is up, I cancel. I enjoy leafing through magazines.
Our newspaper subscription on the other hand, I am ready to cancel it. The only reason I subscribe is the sunday coupons. Half the time we don't get the paper. Their solution? They credit our account for another week. Um, no. I want my fucking coupons. I am so ready to cancel, because customer service is horrendous. One guy just stopped replying to my e-mails. WTF?

DH still has a sub to the L.A. Times. he keeps saying he's going to cancel it because the prices keep going up while the content keeps getting thinner. he gets most of his news online anyway. he used to read the paper while he was eating lunch at his desk. now that he goes walking after lunch, the paper gets recycled most of the time.

I subscribe to our local weekly newspaper, because I like to know what's going on in town, and I love reading the police reports and letters from crazy people in the letters to the editor section.
I have digital subscriptions to the NY Times and the Washington Post. I used to subscribe to SO many magazines, but I finally let all but four go (Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, House Beautiful and US Weekly). I'm considering letting BHG and House Beautiful go because I understand my decorating style and don't really read them any more.

I finally cancelled my newspaper subscription a few weeks ago, after decades of having it delivered on the weekend. I still subscribe to a cooking magazine. I prefer to look at recipes in a magazine, and I would be buying it monthly anyway, so it makes sense to subscribe as it works out cheaper.

I still get the local newspaper in print because the online version leaves out some of the local stories. Additionally the idiots who put out the digital version have made it impossible to search for a story. (example: search for dinosaur and you get hits on baseball--there is no rhyme or reason to their search feature)
This will be my last year for it as the fee is ridiculous for what we get.
I get NYT digital. Stopped all magazines a few years ago when we were too busy to read them.

I've never subscribed, but Cosmo and Oprah have been coming to me for three years now. Martha Stewart Living came for a year, but when I never sent payment they quit. I don't know why they come.
Both papers in my community I think are weekly papers. We get one at work and I read it there.
My dad subscribed to the daily paper and multiple magazines when he died. I think the paper has been canceled but the magazines are still coming. The plan is to just let the subscriptions lapse. My mom doesn't even register that they are coming, she just stacks them with all the other mail that my brother then goes through.

I subscribe to the digital versions of WaPo and NYT (both of whom should thank Trump for my subscriptions). Our tiny local paper only comes out once a week and is funded via ads. I occasionally go back to some old favorite printed magazines, but end up cancelling them again when I remember why I cancelled them the last time -- I never get around to reading them!
ETA I still get some magazines with memberships, like the AARP magazine and such.

We live on the left coast but get the NY Times daily. I read what I want on their website but DH wants to hold a newspaper. He gets to it 5 days out of 7, I'd say, and he loves the Sunday paper.

We've downsized from getting the newspaper 7 days a week to Sundays only (plus digital access all week). For what we pay we should just go to all digital, but I just can't do it yet.
I don't get any magazines, but DH still gets one or two hunting/fishing magazines. Some times I think of starting up Readers Digest again--I switched to digital several years ago, but would forget to read it and finally stopped it.

I pay for our local newspaper's digital subscription. Their parent company is Gannett news which owns USA today. I do not get the physical paper though.
I buy magazines as I want them but no subscriptions. My parents get the People magazine and I read the latest one when I go over there. MIL paid for two years of some magazine. I kept tossing them straight into recycling. DH gets a structural engineering magazine as part of his membership. He reads about half of them. He also gets an alumni magazine every quarter. Since our oldest wants to attend the same school, we leave it out for him to browse before recycling them.

No newspapers. I get "Reader's Digest" for the reading room and "O". I ordered "O" on a 1 year special 5 years ago and it just keeps on coming. Haven't paid for it in 4 years and even did some kind of cancel thing but it still arrives like clockwork.
