I couldn't even guess when the last time I even read a newspaper. Which is sad because I loved to. Our best newspaper for Denver went out of business years ago and I never did like the competing paper. I have one magazine subscription to Country Living. I like flipping through that. I totally forgot, DH and I were in a bookstore the other day (2nd & Charles) and they do a free subscription up to three magazines as long as you cancel within the 3 months. I always turn it down but silly him, signed up for three of them and they are NOTHING that he even reads.. So now they are just showing up and piling up... Rolling Stone, Time and Entertainment. He's out on the road traveling for six weeks at a time. So now I guess I will stockpile them and see if he wants them. OYE. I delivered the rocky Mountain News for years when my kids were little. Then they started merging and I had to deliver both, no option plus the WSJ and one other. THey started paying far less, charging more for supplies, stolen papers etc and it wasn't worth it. Back then almost every house got a paper at some point of the week and in my neighborhood now, I do not see a single paper EXCEPT for one man who gets the WSJ. I know my MIL still gets the paper and what she pays is ludicrous. I cut our subscription at least 10 years ago and my husband was upset but as it turns out, no one misses it, same thing applies to magazines that were simply piling up. Sad that it is all but obsolete.

I ordered People magazine when I moved to a new town to have some mail in my name. Unfortunately it does stack up rather quickly and I just unloaded a bunch to my significant other’s mother. She likes to do the crossword puzzles. I’m just not that into reading and if I’m going to read, I’d like to read a book. I did notice a cookie recipe in my latest issue though that I might try. Other than that, it’s just clutter and I’d rather not deal with it. I think one reason too that I don’t care for it as much as I might have in the past is that I don’t watch much TV so I’m really not familiar with the celebrities that are usually featured in the magazine.

I get the daily paper. I rarely read it but I love to support the print news and the cost is negligible for the value to society of print news. My grandfather and mother made their living in the newspaper industry and I wouldn't even know what it's like not to get the paper.
Additionally I have had the same delivery person for years and it keeps her employed when we all subscribe.
Magazines we get Reminisce and a History magazine my husband gets. I love getting them and they only come like quarterly.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Yes. I like reading physical copies, especially of fashion magazines.
ETA: I get Essence, InStyle, The New Yorker, New York and the New York Review of Books. I also have the NYT digital and the NY Daily News digital.
