Hey everyone! So I went to see "Hustlers" with my ladies meetup group last night and we really enjoyed it ... I didn't have high hopes for it but it was good ... there was some nudity but it was necessary as the movie was about strippers I'm going to buy some shoes today for my bff's wedding that I am in next weekend ... she is 42 and this is her first wedding and she is feeling the pressure ... she says she'll be glad when it's all over This is the meme I posted on Facebook today ... this dog definitely represents me these days Dinner tonight will be grilled bone in pork chops and a southwest salad ... the dd's will complain but dh will not ... can't win them all What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight?

Our lunch today was grilled lamb with a large mixed salad. Dinner will be bread, cold meats and cheeses, as we still have plenty that we bought back from France.

Happy Sunday Funday!! Iāve have several naughty meals out for birthday shenanigans. Back to reality tonight with an actual home cooked meal. Making a grilled chicken with a Tuscan cream sauce that has spinach, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms in it. Roasted Brussels and new potatoes on the side.

I have a chimichanga left from last night's controlled splurge, so I will have that and dh will have italian sausage, peppers, and onions that we bought at the store last night.

PolarGreen12, it's so good to hear that you continued to celebrate. Woohoo! I don't know what I'm cooking. If I go out it could be pork loin and if I stay here it could be oven fried chicken(boring). Must decide at some point. Enjoy your day.

I just grilled steak tips for dh to enjoy while watching football. He ate cucumber spears with ranch first. Iām not cooking another meal today. I have brussels I bought last weekend so Iāll sautĆ© them later, maybe. lucyg ās Mexican chicken soup made a return visit today. Iāll have it for lunches this week. Dh is feeling better today. It seems like his problem may be his gallbladder so weāre keeping him on a low fat diet to see if it helps.

DH is in Vegas so dinner will be whatever DD feels like stopping to get on her way home from work. I don't feel guilty because the kids love when I offer to pay for take out. And because I'm paying, it will most likely be Thai food.

I'm making chicken fried rice tonight at Jeremy's request.
I had a bit of an emotional day today. My baby isn't a baby. He's turning 18 next month and today did his big *senior like* pics. He got a GED but this would have been senior year so I insisted on pics. I just got home. Laundry, cleaning the kitchen and crochet are all on my agenda for today.

I did a day trip to Luxembourg City today (2 hrs 10 min each way on the train), so I was too tired to go out tonight. Ordered room service and had French onion soup and a Cesar salad for dinner. Not sure Iāve ever had a Cesar salad before that included boiled quail eggs, roasted cherry tomatoes and French green beans, but it was good. Tomorrow is my last full day, then itās back home to reality and counting those WW points!

I made Beef Stroganoff and then DH went to the store and came home with all the makings for nachos. OK, nachos for tonight. No big deal...you can be sure that stroganoff will make an appearance later this week. I also made a bean salad and a broccoli salad.
I enjoyed The Goldfinch movie yesterday. I'd like to talk with someone who sees having NOT already read the book. It might be confusing if you didn't already know the story.

Rechauffe. I donāt want want to talk about it. The only good thing I have to say is, I took out some ground beef, turkey, and sausage (bunches of leftover bits) so I can make spaghetti sauce tomorrow. Something new finally. Danger, christine58, danger! Make a small pot of soup, or else youāll still be eating it four days later, like me! KelleeM, Iām glad someone is enjoying my Mexican chicken soup. I havenāt made it in ages because, guess who prefers chicken noodle or won ton soup.

For me and DD, I made salmon marinated in sweet chilli sauce, kecap manis and lime juice, served with Thai green curry risotto. Except I didn't have any green curry paste left so it became Thai red curry risotto. I even went to the nursery to buy some Thai basil and Vietnamese mint, which I needed for the risotto, but also because I have none left in my herb garden. DS had a mate stay over (it's school holidays here at the moment) and I cooked them chicken schnitzel and potato gems (tater tots).

Put s roast in the crockpot because I thought it would only be dd#2 & her bf. dd#1 & sil texted to ask what time dinner would be. Thankfully I had a bag of frozen tortilla crusted tilapia. Then a sheet pan of green beans & carrots & salad.

KelleeM, the only way to fix a gallbladder is to remove it. The good thing is that it's super easy and outpatient. Once it's out your dh will feel loads better. I'm sorry that he has a bad gallbladder, but glad that it's something simple.
