Just over half way through! How are you all doing? I am pitifully behind.

This weeks sketch is from October 2018

Today's recipe is Sweet Potato Waffles with Maple Syrup- my favorite fall breakfast.

1.Waffle iron - pull out those grid, plaid, geometric pattern papers for that distinctive waffle look.
2. Smashed Sweet potatoes - Smash together 2 or more designers, paper lines , kits (I used and echo park kit with Some simple stories embellishments)
3. 2 eggs to add volume - use 2 photos.
4. Maple Syrup - Use some kind of leaf in your design - stickers, stamps, pattern paper , diecuts. however

I've done layouts for 12 sketches so far, which I'm pretty pleased with. I finished them all within a few days of Sept ending last year and I'd like to do the same this year. My biggest struggle is choosing photos. Sometimes I can just look at a sketch and know exactly what I'll scrap (like this one) but other days I have to flip through photos to see what I have that might work. It doesn't help that I'm excited to scrap my last holiday but I usually have way more photos than the sketches call for or can reasonably adjust to accommodate.
