I follow a few junk journalers and one of them made an October daily junk journal. What?? I never knew. Here is an adorable October daily binder made with the Hello Pumpkin collection.

Yeah, it's actually a pretty big thing in the niche corner of the scrappy Internet. Serena Bee has created her brand through this project, I believe.
I'll be working in an ongoing October album this year. I don't do daily but I like tracking the spookier season through the years. The album helps to plan out a few extra things to do and document which, in turn, helps to combat the SAD I struggle with yearly when summer ends.

The options are endless. We can do whatever daily we want. I like the idea of a June or July daily project. I love those long days full of adventures, popsicles, summer produce, and beach days. I also like the idea of a fall season themed album rather than a daily album. Just the thought is going to make want to go buy more Carta Bella Fall Market. The new sweaters and boots, apple cider drinking, pumpkin pie making, and falling leaves I could scrap!

Inktober is pretty big in the art/drawing/art journalling world too so I imagine it’s come from the same place/idea as that.

Does anyone remember when Stacy Julian had her "30 Days Hath September" album class? I took it but never completed the album...and I love all of the fall months!!!

I was going to do a personal journal just for October. Never knew it was a thing. These links will be perfect for inspiration!

October Daily is my favorite. I have been doing October Daily for years. I love it more than December Daily. I have everything ready to go. I mix it with Inktober. This is the time I look forward to the most since I am a professional gothic fairy artist. I really go crazy with my art around October and some of my best work has come from Inktober and October Daily. I am really hyped about it. I am even scheduling a whole month of solitude and nobody will bother me. If a drama comes up then somebody else will deal with it and not put it on me, lol. I am hiding and creating art. This is my favorite holiday.

I guess I kind of have an October daily album. It's an ongoing Halloween album with some pumpkin walk and corn mazes photos thrown in there. I've done a couple of 8x8 books in the past of pumpkin walks too. It definitely does not have a consistent look! Any suggestions on prompts and where to see completed albums?
Or is this geared more towards the art mixed media type? I'm definitely not artistic.

This isn’t something I would make because we don’t do enough Fall / Halloween things to make an album out of it.
I love looking at other people’s, though and appreciate the time and activities they do!

I did not know it was a "thing" either. Pretty cool. I did an October album, not exactly daily, but all of the October events a few years back (2012 I think?) because I don't do December daily. I think bcz I do way more activities that tend to be inspired by fall versus the December holidays. I still love that album, there are so many great fall collections. I think I used one of the Simple Stories collections at the time.

This has inspired me to continue with my pumpkin walk album. Definitely not as creative as the examples in this thread, but I had fun making the pages.

This really appeals to my organized and chronological lovin’ mind, lol.

I never heard of this either. I would be tempted to do one because I like to do crafty stuff, love Halloween but have no use for it, and my birthday is in October. But......I'm kind of busy for a while. I will check out Paige's October Occasionally.

A few years ago I did a 30 Day of Thankful album in November. Thanksgiving occurs in October in Canada, so an Occasional album and a Gratitude journal would be a nice October project. Hmmmm....

I did a random every day in June album this year. I enjoyed it. Some of it was documenting every day stuff. Some of it was documenting some summer yard renovations. Some of it was documenting a vacation we took at the end of June. I picked June because I had just received a few 6x8 snap albums and pocket pages. I figured that would make me use at least one of them.

I am pretty sure I’m going to do this. I want to put together a kit that’s not too matchy matchy but still distinctly fall. I’d love to hear what you all are using!

Never heard of this but would love to do one too. Dec Daily was just to much at a busy time of the year for me. Only completely one and it was like 2 years later and not in December. I love Halloween paper too so that's a nice bonus. I will check out the October Occasionally format. Thanks!

But......I'm kind of busy for a while. I will check out Paige's October Occasionally. You could just collect photos and notes and make the album sometime later if you don't mind not having a community of people working together on the project. Maybe we should all think about doing a birthday month album that could be really fun.
