I live in upstate New York. It’s sunny and warm for this time of year. We have woods behind our house and I’m sitting on the deck listening to a cascade of acorns falling from the trees.

After a lovely late Indian summer, today we had a rainy and windy day and the week is set to continue unsettled I think 😕 I’m in England 🙂

We seem to have skipped September (which is typically an enjoyable month around here) this year. We went from a lovely, mild summer a couple of weeks ago to mid October-like weather in the blink of an eye. Rainy and about 60 degrees right now in Seattle

Mid 80s here, sun is up and shining. But for some reason it feels gray & sort of depressing--dreary. Maybe I'm just in a mood...

We had some lovely cooler days back in August, but the whole month of Sept has been Hot- upper 80’s, low 90’s. And no rain, my lawn is very dry. We are supposed to get rain overnight and then somewhat cooler temps- low 80’s. I won’t be happy until we get to the 60’s. That’s my perfect temp.

It’s been in the mid to high 80’s during the day, with cooler evenings and mornings. Sunny, no rain. It’s been sooo nice and such a reprieve from our usual hot September weather. Looks like we’ll be back to the mid-90’s this week.

It was partly cloudy here most of the day, now it’s mostly cloudy and it definitely feels cooler at 62°. We’ve had way more rain (and heavy rain when it does) than usual and it sucks. We’ve been trying to work on our landscaping for the past month and a half and it’s been so muddy and gross. We also need to still put some stain on the cedar inside the screened porch and it’s either been too hot or too wet to want to work on that too.

We're still having summer weather (which I love), but it is so dry. We haven't had rain in quite a while and really need it.

Nice day here in Colorado with a temp of 72. Clear blue skies with a little wind. Suppose to be about the same all week. It is warm for us and the warmth has delayed the trees from starting to turn, but I'm not complaining.

Humid and rain showers off/on this afternoon. Predictions for upper 80's this next week and scattered showers a few days. I'm so over summer, but will have to deal with it until Nov. most likely.

Too hot for September- low to mid 90’s for the next 10 days. Almost the same here. High 80's/low 90s. Way too hot for September. We are officially in a drought now too. Hot and sunny for at least the next 10 days.

91 and sunny in southern Ohio today, and I am loving it. I just got back from a run in just a running bra and shorts and it's 7:30 in the evening. This week is supposed to go up and down around 80 but end up around 91 again for several days. I have been especially sad for summer to go this year, so I am holding on to every degree of this weather!!

NH. Too warm for me. We’re back in the 80’s and will be close to that for the week. Bring on the cool weather. We had it and then the heat came back. At least it’s not super muggy though.

It's up and down like a bride's nightie at the moment. Spring always is, in Melbourne. We had 26 C (79 F) on Friday then two days later it was back down to winter weather - 15 C (59 F). I can't wait for summer.

80° in San Diego at 5 pm. This is normal for this time of year but it doesn’t mean I enjoy it. I am looking forward to 65° highs.

It was hot and sunny most of the day but we had a couple of showers. Just enough to make it more humid. Blah.
I'm in the Houston area, and we just got hit with TS Imelda, and catastrophic amounts of rainfall (40+ inches in a few places). The catastrophic rainfall amounts and resulting flooding was localized. My street didn't even have standing water at the curb. But across town homes were flooded and roads were impassable. It depends on where the rain comes down hardest. We had steady hard rain in my neighborhood, but where my husband works, it was an absolute deluge.
Unfortunately, it looks like 100, 500, and even 1000 year storms are our new normal. And we can expect a flooding storm every year.

Eastern WA here and it was 70 and cloudy today. Supposed to be in the high 60’s all week and down to the 50’s the following week. I’m not ready!!!!!! Dh blew out the sprinklers today, covered the AC unit outside, we turned off the attic fan, he black jacked all the roof vents and checked the chimney for any cracks. We also turned on the heater to make sure it’s good to go since it’ll be lows just above freezing overnight starting next week. Did I mention I’m not ready?

muggy. annoyed because i had to turn on a/c today. and i am not quick to turn on a/c. i *love* fall - just dying to bust out sweaters and scarves, jeans and boots. also annoyed cuz DS had hockey friday night and this morning.... had to walk into a rink with balmy temps outside and layer up to watch the game. (note how i do not refer to specific temps - i am a child of metric system so not sure what "feels like 34c with humidex" translates into imperial...)

It's like one day it was summer and the next day, BAM! it was fall! I do have to admit that I loved the rain today. It feels so normal.

It's been in the 80's for most of the month. Today the high was 69 degrees and walking the dogs tonight I should have had on sleeves. It was almost chilly. This ticks me off since just 4 months ago we had 10 inches of snow.
