Hi sketchy peas! On Thursdays, LisaDV and I are offering two sketches and two twists, one associated with each sketch. *** you only need to complete one of the two to "finish" Sketchtember and get the 50 point month bonus.
However, we thought bonus points were in order for our two-fer Thursday! (these points replace the normal associated Sketchtember points; they're not additional ) You can complete one sketch for 1 point. If you complete the sketch and associated twist you get 5 points. If you complete one sketch with both twists, you get 7 points. If you complete both sketches with it's associated twist each you get 15 points If you complete both sketches with BOTH twists each you get 20 points! Ready, set... Sketch #1, by LisaDV.
TWIST #1: transparencies, or using large background die cuts (see Lisa's example!)
And Lisa's 2 page example:
Sketch #2, from me TWIST #2: Pop dot/elevate elements on your page - on my example, my photos and the overlying die cuts are popped up on fun-foam.
Please pop back in here and share with us what you create.
I have finished my interpretation of LisaDV s sketch, but I had no sunlight left this afternoon and will have to photograph it tomorrow! I found an old KI memories full-page flower transparency tucked in my stash...I was so excited and thankful that Lisa's challenge sent me digging for a transparency item!

Here is my example for LisaDV s sketch. I'm sorry there are no triangles, but my plan was to cut out the flowers and use them where the triangles would be, but then I fell in love with the look of the full transparency sheet. I'm pretty happy with this for a few reasons - used OLD supplies (the transparency is 2005), used NEW supplies (Shimelle). USED UP a package of Heidi Swapp transparency flowers. Used dies. Used packaging (the black is from the package of transparency flowers). Used PURPLE - go figure! Altered the letter stickers to purple. I just felt like a real crafter making this one! layout mamma mia by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Here is my take on kitbop 's sketch. I used the 'Your Birthday' kit by Lindsay Jane, and made my own flairs using the 'Flair Builder' styles by Sahin Designs. I got the twist in - the banner is popped up.

Part A with both twist. The white heart is actually popped up on top of the transparency which I painted with acrylic paints. Happiness by Dictionary-1, on Flickr

Dictionary, LOVE! I'm oohing and awing over this one. Love the painted transparency, the soft pinks, and the scalloped border. Gorgeous page.

Linda, this is such a pretty layout. I love how the colors pop against the dark background.
