There is a local radio show that is mostly just a gossip/entertainment format..no music. And I listen every single day while I work . One of the DJ’s must have terrible allergies, because she is ALWAYS congested and has an extremely stuffy nose. It will clear up for a couple weeks and then BAM...it’s back. All.Year.Long.
I don’t know...it bothers me that she can’t find something to help her with whatever the issue is. Or get off the air, because I hate listening to her talk when she is SO plugged up all the time. And funny enough, I would not mind so much if she and her cohost would address it, like in a joking way. But they never say anything, and pretend it’s not an issue. So that is more the issue, really. Believe me, I feel like a terrible, horrible, petty person for being so annoyed about this, but I am. And now I will get over it and move on with my life.
Your turn.

Are you sure it's not coke? And that she takes a break from using every now and then? Chronic users sound like that.

My petty vent has to do with my sister's neighbor - not even MY neighbor. My sister lives in a 2 unit condo - just her and one neighbor attached to her little cottage like building. The neighbor isn't especially friendly but isn't rude either. My vent is that he lives alone and has 2 cars and one of the cars has NEVER moved since he has lived there - (he has 2 spaces, sister has 2 spaces and all 4 are next to each other). I know the car has never moved because it is parked crooked and the front tires are turned out, plus over the years, sand/dirt has collected up under the car. I have no idea why it bugs me so much but it does...I don't care that a single guy has 2 cars but why have 2 if you are NEVER going to drive one of them - like NEVER! If it doesn't work, he should get rid of it. If it does work, he should crank it up and drive it a little bit once in a while. Maybe it bothers me because he is parked crooked (even though in the lines, he is kind of on the line) - I wish it didn't annoy me but for some irrational reason, it does.

My petty vent kinda like disneypal... I share a driveway with our neighbor. We live in a duplex, I have 2 spaces in front of my garage, then there is some red brick that goes down between our driveways and he has 2 spots. The red brick part is like the 'no parking zone'. Dang guy always has to park 1/2 way on the red brick with his big old truck (which he doesn't need.. trust me on that).. then DD will park on the furthest side of the driveway but for the life of her she can't manage to get her car in her spot and she drifts into my spot. So when I get home and these two doo-doo's beat me home I have to squeeze to get my place in-between them. I even once parked down towards the street because I didn't want my car door to hit anything or their doors hit my car. I feel better.. but not.

Mine is, when the weather people on the news talk so fast they have to swallow really loudly. It’s not like they don’t have plenty of time for the weather, just cut out some of the other filler! And it happens on most of my local stations

My vent is that I think of vents while driving and then when these threads pop up, I can’t remember them. Maybe that is for the better. Lol!

I hate when someone parks in my space at work! We don't have assigned spaces, so I can't really complain, but everyone has their certain spots where they park. Sometimes we have visitors and they take my space and it puts me in a foul mood all day!

here my petty vent: MIL is 86 and she wanted to get a PUPPY. we told her to ADOPT an older, mellow dog but she claims all the rescues turned her down because of her age. so she BOUGHT a puppy online from a breeder across the country. MIL moves slow and i am afraid she will either step on the lively puppy and break it's leg or she will get trip over it, fall and break something. she lives alone, BTW. i don't think it's fair to the puppy who needs a more active owner and i also think a small lively dog is a trip hazard for MIL. this is not an if situation waiting to happen, it is a when.

In the continuing MIL saga, we hired our 3rd attorney (and told the 2nd one she had been replaced). New attorney also got my hubby to agree to setting up a family trust for us (which is great) along with preparing our wills and a health care directive/power of attorney for our adult son. That's great - no argument from me.
BUT ... I had emailed her to say that while I think it's great that we'll have our papers done, the #1 reason we were changing to her was that my husband has yet to be paid for the last 4 years as trustee and handler of his mother's chaos. I said please prepare the accounting because the trust beneficiaries only have 30 days to oppose.
And we wait ... again. A rough draft accounting was done, but not sent out; we submitted our spreadsheets showing time and mileage spent, itemized by year and an explanation of each item. Yet - still nothing is done. I'm so freaking fed up with attorneys that don't listen - and this one was in my hubby's HS reunion. Argh.

I've had the same spot for 6 years. Get outta my spot!

It irks me that most vehicles are black, white, or gray.
I like COLOR, on the road, and everywhere.

There were a 4 of us that participated and between all of us, we made about $150. I took some scrapbook stuff and walked away with about $50. The others had tables and tables of stuff but I bet we only had 20 people stop by. I got bored and left at lunch.

Ooh. I have a work vent. When people call I need to get either their name or email address and/or a transaction number. I hate when people starting rattling off at high speed. Especially when they have a poor phone connection or heavy accent.

We have new neighbors who leave their smaller dogs outside. They bark. We have lots of coyotes and bobcats that will eat these small dogs. We had one neighbor that lost 4 dogs in less than two years. I haven't seen the new neighbors to let them know. Judging from the accent coming from inside the house, they are from the south and might not be used to Colorado wildlife.

My petty vent...one of my coworkers brought in a carton of eggs and left it in the refrigerator. There's 1 egg left and the shells of the other 11 are in the carton. Why? Why can't they throw the shell away? I assume they're doing one of those crack an egg microwave breakfast meals.
Don't get me started on all the other crap that's in the fridge.

My vent (that I thought of the other day while out & about too) is slow closing doors for single use restrooms...I'm dancing around, trying not to pee my pants while waiting for the stupid door to slowly and safely close so I can lock it! Honestly, half the time I don't lock the door on a stall until I'm already seated and peeing if I have to go badly enough!

The one girl wanted us to wear them to an Aerosmith concert and I wouldn't do it.

It irks me that most vehicles are black, white, or gray. You'd be be irked at us, all 3 of the cars in our household are a gunmetal grey. It's not necessarily any of our favorite color for cars, but it's funny how it worked out and we all ended up with the same or almost the same color. (Mine and DH's are both Mitsubishi's so they are exactly the same, DS's is a Hyundai but it's very close)

It's not petty, but definitely annoying.
I joined a gym about six weeks ago. They have an indoor walking tracking. Yay!
I put my earphones on and put my playlist on shuffle, while I walk my miles. Every single song plays at a different volume level than the song before it. First song, perfect volume, next song too low, next song too high, over and over and over... have to pull out the phone and adjust the volume every single song. So annoying. First world problems.

Apparently I offended them when I told them they act like members of some teenage sorority. I just dont get the mentality.

It annoys me to no end that a grown woman in her 50's cannot figure out the simplest of things. She has a senior like me so I have been seeing her dumb questions for 4 years now. Every year, it is the same thing. I am sitting over here thinking, we have been doing this for 4 years now. Why can you not remember this?
Stupid questions in general bug me. We had a band competition recently. After a small exhibition and three football games, a parent asked if these competitions were inside or outside. Huh? When have you ever seen a high school football field inside?
