Update on DH's cancer drug and/or cancer warriors

I haven't seen a thread on the cancer warriors lately and just wanted to say that I've been thinking about all of you fighting.  I posted about my DH's cancer drug, AMPI-109, renamed VDX-111 for triple negative BC and his funding situation on an old thread and wanted to share his progress.  He wrote for an SBIR grant, 2.4 million to launch his company, Vona Oncology for phase II trials and will learn of that outcome by the end of the year.  He is writing a melanoma DOD (department of defense) grant currently and he will be traveling to San Francisco in two weeks to give a pitch to investors, like on the Shark Tank.  A lot of stress for him, but I think this will work.  He proposes getting his drug to people in 2027.  Hugs to all of those fighting and keep up the hope for new treatments.
