First, a big thank you to tuesdaysgone for filling in and starting the thread the past two weeks. LSU hosts Utah State this Saturday and I'm a tad nervous about the game. I hope the team isn't overlooking this team and thinking about next week's game against Florida. Utah State has a QB who will be playing in the NLF soon and they run an up-tempo offense like we've never seen. Our defensive injuries are also problematic. Who does your team play? Geaux Tigers!

Clemson is off this week and they need it after last week's game. They do it every year though about the same time- either lose one or barely escape. They'll get it together though! GO TIGERS! I'm interested in Florida-Auburn- my friend is a Gator!

My Oklahoma Sooners play Kansas at Lawrence. We should win, but Kansas is a different team w/ Les Miles at the helm, so you never know.

The Buckeyes are playing Michigan State on Saturday night and I am also a bit nervous. This will be our hardest game so far this season.
I have the UCF v Cincinnati game on now and it is a low scoring slug fest.

The Buckeyes are playing Michigan State on Saturday night and I am also a bit nervous. You are a 21 pt favorite! But I certainly understand your nervousness because of last week with Clemson... It's about time for some upsets- not saying this will be one though. I saw where ESPN (I think) had made predictions about when a team would lose. They had Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio State as the only undefeated teams.

I was very happy with us hanging around #5 in the rankings and not being talked about much. This week after the Nebraska game, they have been talking about us too much for my liking. I will say that I am more happy with our defense than I have been since Joey Bosa left us for the NFL. Chase Young has been an absolute beast.

I think she meant for the whole season. I don’t think that the ESPN pundits think that tomorrow will be even a blip on LSU’s radar. It is when you have to play Alabama, who they think will be undefeated for the season, that they think you may lose.

So they think LSU will lose tomorrow? No- They predict LSU will lose to Alabama on Nov 9. link
ETA- I should've said the FIRST loss prediction.

Georgia Bulldogs will be up in Knoxville facing the Volunteers. Poor Tennessee is down right now, but it's always very loud in their stadium. This is always a fun family rivalry weekend. SIL and BIL both went to UT and are huge fans.

So far, our season has been topsy turvy, so I'm not sure what their strengths really are. Hoping for a fun game! Go Green!

Coming off a bye week, Univ of Colorado taking on Arizona today. Hoping it’s another good game. It’s parents weekend in Boulder, so should be a lively crowd!

Texas Tech played Oklahoma State University and Tech won 45-35, though there at the end I thought they were going to blow their lead. Baylor is up next.
A&M has an off week but next week is Alabama.

LSU's defense showed up and we beat Utah State 42-6. We had 601 yards offense to Utah State's 159!

O-H
Not liking the black uniforms. It’s like I’m not watching the Buckeyes. I would be ok with really dark gray, but we are not the scarlet and black.

I-O! I have a black Jersey - I wore it last week, planning on wearing my red one tonight, but I broke the black one out again. Needless to say, I like them. But, I have a red, a white and a black Ohio State Jersey... The game is way too close for my liking. Michigan State’s defense has been really really good.

Surprise, surprise...the Northwestern-Nebraska game went down to the wire. A win is a win, but it sure was hard to watch!

My son's marching band competition was in Lincoln today. It was perfect timing for us to watch them in preliminaries, go to the Husker game, and get back for finals.
Very difficult game to watch. Having 4 offensive starters injured is a problem. Defense really stepped up. The crowd totally took over after back-to-back penalties were called on us in the 4th quarter. We had to finish watching the game on the tv screens on the way out of the stadium so we could get back to the band competition. I was so happy that we didn't have to go into overtime.
Whew!
Next week we travel to Minnesota.

Hats off to OSU.
The Spartans hurt themselves way too many times with bad passes, missed kicks and penalties. Without those who knows, but the Buckeyes were impressive.
