What is a good (hopefully free) app to keep track of appointments. I own a salon and we are wanting to try something better than a paper appointment book.
Looking for something where hopefully we could see a week at a time. Maybe where we could all share it and know each other’s schedule but not a definite need for that.

I have no idea what the app/site is like for the salon owner, etc. but my hairdresser uses Vagaro. There's an app and I can make my appointments on there 24/7. She gets instant notification. And when making the appt, you choose the stylist and what you want done. The app knows how long it takes and shows available times/days, etc. And I have no idea what she pays for it, knowing her it's not much. She not frivolous with her money.

My stylist works out of her home and uses an app called Acuity for bookings.

Our salon changed to Vagaro about a year ago. The stylists are all independent but are all listed on the Vagaro app when you pull up the salon name.

The salon I go to uses Schedulicity and I find it easy to use as a client but I can't speak to it as an employer/employee. All the stylists are there as are all the services they offer.

My DH has a different kind of business and he uses Fullslate for his appointments. It’s great for him because the clients can go on his website and choose the time that works best for them without ever having to call him. He gets a text message to notify him of the pending appointment and he confirms it before it’s permanently added to the schedule. The salon I go to also uses online scheduling but I’m not sure what application they use.

I don’t know from the salon end, but my gym uses MINDBODY, which does both salon/spa booking and fitness booking. I like the app a lot and find it useful not only for appointments but also for finding new service providers.

I have a side business and all our reps use Calendly. I also use it for scheduling rehearsals and auditions.
