A while back I posted here, asking if there were any Swiss peas, or peas travelling to Switzerland here because I was looking for a mix of herbs that is only for sale in Switzerland. Koontz sent me a pm, saying that she was travelling there soon. I explained to her what exactly I was looking for and I offered to reimburse her or to send her a rak. Yesterday I received 3 packages of the herbs I was looking for! Koontz didn't even want anything in return! Now I can make my favorite pasta salad again! 💃💃💃
Thank you Koontz! You are the BEST!

How kind of her to do that for you. I'll tag koontz so that she can see your post.

Yay! That’s awesome!
I’ve been on the receiving end of something similar from a pea. It’s great to have such a supportive community! (Most of the time. At least when it really matters.)

love reading these little snippets! For a group of women, many who will never meet each other it is so wonderful to hear continually of the support and friendship given to each other especially in time of need. Long may we be here

How very kind of her! With sooo much negativity in our daily lives---(including some hurtful things that are said on this board)----I love stories like this!

I love that we are there for each other in so many different ways from offering an opinion, a hug, or honest criticism to locating obscure things. This place is truly my favorite spot on the internet.

For the most part, it's not too bad here. One day you're told you're a freak like Becky Higgins and the next day, you get a nice peamail.

By strange coincidence I just changed out the blade on my Making Memories big black trimmer this morning. Back on Two Peas in a Bucket I mentioned that is was going to cost me $7AUSD for a replacement plastic part but $36AUSD for the postage!!(from US to Australia) A very kind pea who owned a scrapbook shop in Australia (other side of the country to me!) offered to order it in for me. She also included a spare blade and REFUSED to accept any payment whatsoever for them- even mailing them to me. The blade is self sharpening but was catching a bit so I unwrapped the "new" blade. I know that one day I will need to buy a new trimmer but have been able to keep this one working thanks to her kindness all those years ago. Corinne
