We are loving The Unicorn. Lots of it is predictable, but it is still funny--so far.
I can't decide if Carol's Second Act is going to stay on my watch list.
The writers have Carol acting just too stupid for my taste. I'm watching 1 more time, and if she is still so stupid, then I am on to other things.

I haven't seen the Unicorn yet and I feel the same way about Carol's Second Act. I'll give it one more week but that's probably going to be the end of it.
My new favorite so far is All Rise. I was really surprised when they cancelled For the People so this one is kind of filling the void.

So far I’ve seen and really liked Prodigals Son & Treadstone. I watched the first episode of Emergence but I’m sot sure about it yet.
All Rise, Evil and Bluff City Law are on deck for tomorrow.

Carol's Second Act is funnier than I expected though they are wasting Cedric Yarbrough (previously on Speechless). It's predictable and totally unrealistic but I think I like it because of all of Patricia Heaton's characters, this one is the most likable to me.
I kept checking my watch during the pilot of The Unicorn because it drug on so. We thought it was dull, unfunny and without any conflict with the supporting cast so there was little plot. We aren't planning to watch again.
Perfect Harmony's pilot was very funny. The mix of cast is contrived yet they are mostly likable characters and there is plenty to work with as they go forward. I love Bradley Whitfield. The 2nd episode wasn't as good but the show has promise.
I hadn't planned to watch All Rise but our internet was out the other night so I watched it. It's okay but a poor imitation of the stories from For the People. For the People did an excellent episode on immigration that was one of the best hours of TV I've ever seen. I like Wilson Bethel so I might stream it next summer if it gets picked up.
The only drama I was really interested in is Bluff City Law but with so many returning shows to watch, I figured I'd wait a few weeks to see how the ratings go.

I agree with your opinions on Carol's second act. Patrica is a really good actress but the writing isn't all that good. I really wanted to love Bob /Abashola because I love Billy Gardell but, I'm not loving it.
I am enjoying Evil, and The Unicorn.

Watched Prodigal Son, very dark. I liked it ok but will pvr the next few weeks and see how I feel about it after catching some other new shows.
Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Emergence, nice character development, lots of mystery and suspense.

I have Bluff City Law on my DVR, but haven't watched it, yet. I've watched the first episode of Evil- I'll keep watching. I like Prodigal Son so far. If I had to watch Perfect Harmony, I would go insane and my ears would bleed... I may try FBI. Nothing else interests me.

This is the first time we haven't scheduled any new shows to watch. We're content with the ones we're already are invested in and have so many choices on Netflix and Prime.

I'm liking Bluff City Law, All Rise, and Prodigal Son. Almost Family looks interesting. We enjoy Emergence too. Carol's Second Act & Bob Hearts Abishola are stupid as is Perfect Harmony. Haven't seen Stumptown or the Unicorn yet and Evil is not my thing

Watching Evil, Stumpton, Unicorn, Carol’s second Act (recorded not watched yet).
Evil is good so far, hope it doesn’t get too dark-like Criminal Minds did-had to stop watching it due to bad dreams.
Stumpton is excellent!
Unicorn is predictable, but very cute & sweet, love the older dd.

Prodigal Son is pretty good.
I am seriously loving Evil. Can’t wait to see this show progress.
Carols Second Act is meh for me. I was hoping it would sort of be like Scrubs, and I like Patricia Heaton as an actress. But the jokes are lame, the story lines are boring, and the incessant use of the laugh track in the pilot was a major turn off.

Not new this fall but fairly new on HBO with Walton Goggins is "The Rightous Gemstones". It's hilarious.

The new shows I've watched so far are
Bluff City Law - I like it enough to keep watching Emergence - not sure I want to get into another show like this but the first episode was pretty good Bless the Harts - kind of funny but won't record/watch on a regular basis Carol's Second Act - wasn't crazy about the first episode but will give it another try Kids Say the Darnest Things - too much filler and not enough questioning kids - will watch if nothing else is on Almost Family - I liked it and will keep watching Perfect Harmony - pretty good
Recorded but not yet watched: Prodigal Son

Not to many shows hit the mark for myself and my husband. I’m thinking this one may!!!

The only one we watched so far is Almost Family and DH was unimpressed. I will watch again. When I first tried to watch it I was with family and they were quite unimpressed so I switched it to something else. within minutes .The next day I watched it alone I decided that it might not be bad and will definitely give it another shot. Funny and interesting premise, different from anything else that is on yv currently.
